The class has ended and it's now break time. Some students are heading towards the cafeteria to grab a bite. As always, I decided to stay in the class. However, I noticed something peculiar. The guy beside me hadn't gone to lunch!

I coughed to get his attention, "Ehem... You do know it's lunchtime, right? Why haven't you gone to lunch yet?"

But he just responded with an empty stare, making things awkward. Why is he staring at me like that? I decided to ignore him and continue my work. Suddenly, he laughed, which caught me off guard. I looked at him weirdly.

"You ask me... But you? Why didn't you go for lunch, huh?" he said.

I was speechless, he got me. I looked away and tried to avoid his glare. "It doesn't matter. You are the new student, of course, it's weird to see you didn't go to lunch. I'm an old student, it's a routine for me. So-"

"Who said I'm a new student?" he interrupted, and his words made my blood boil. I stood up and quickly walked out of the class.

What a weirdo.

I went to the rooftop, my favourite spot for healing. I took out a lollipop and started to suck on it while I lost myself in the calm view. I whisper under my breath, "I miss you, Mom." I can feel my eyes watering.

I quickly wipe them when I hear the recess bell ring, signalling that it's over. I quickly ran to my class.

When I entered the classroom, the teacher had not arrived yet. I walked towards my table and suddenly someone's feet tripped me. Before I knew it, I fell and my head hit the edge of the table. The next thing I remember was everything going black.

As soon as I regained consciousness, I realized I was in a hospital bed. Taking a glance around, I noticed the man sitting next to me was fast asleep.

What is he doing here, I asked myself.

I touched my head, and I feel a bandage? I took the mirror beside me and looked at myself. I was shocked. My head are all wrapped with bandage?! What happened? Did I passed out?
