Mallory's POV

I was over at my best friend Payton's house, we were hanging out, making tiktoks and stuff when I got a random DM on instagram. The name looked familiar but I didn't know who it was and all the text said was "hey." I clicked his page and he had over 4 million followers, I let out a little squeal and Payton looked at my confused. I asked her if she knew who he was, she's the tiktok girl out of the 2 of us, she follows everyone and is OBSESSED with all the boys. She looked at my phone and started screaming at me asking me why and how dare I not know who "THE VINNIE HACKER" was. I told her I got a dm from him and if I should reply. She said duh so I obviously replied to him. I didn't get anything back for a few hours and by the time I did, I had already left Payton's house and was about to go to bed.

Vinnie's POV

I can't believe Mallory actually DM'd me back. Like I know I'm "famous" and I get so many dms but normally I don't dm people, they dm me. I get so many daily that I turned off my instagram notifications. Me and the boys were hanging out playing video games and stuff and then I remembered that I texted her, it had been about 4 hours since she responded and I felt like such a dick. I left the living room where all the boys were and went up to my room. Me and mallory talked for hours until it was about 2 am her time. We ended up exchanging numbers because my instagram likes to glitch out.

Mallory and Vinnie's pms

Vinnie: I'm so surprised you actually DM'd me back

Mallory: why? I mean I almost didn't but when my bsf figured out it was you who texted me she almost snatched my phone out of my hand to text you back herself

Vinnie: just most people I dm don't respond. Your bsf knew who I was and you didn't?

Mallory: no not really, your named looked familiar but I don't really go on tiktok to watch other people, I just go on it to make funny videos with my friends.

Vinnie: ohh makes sense. Well, I want to get to know you.

Mallory: okay what do you want to know?

Vinnie: idk, 20 questions?

Mallory: uh sure, but don't make it dirty.

Vinnie: don't worry, I'm not like that. What's your favorite color?

Mallory: easy, purple. Do you have any nicknames?

Vinnie: well Vinnie is my nickname, I haven't used my real name in forever. It's so gross

Mallory: omg what is it ???

Vinnie: don't ever use it, but it's Vincent...

Mallory: oh don't worry, I will use it. All. The. Time.

Mallory has changed vinnie's name to Vincent :)

Mallory's POV

Me and Vinnie texted until it was 2 am. I told him I lived in Florida, my birthday, all the basic shit. He was super easy to talk to and I think he felt at ease knowing I wasn't a crazy fangirl.
