I've gotten better at ignoring hate, I find it kind of therapeutic to respond to them sometimes. Me and Payton are going clubbing tonight down in our college town. Mallory was caught dancing with some guys in the club. I know we aren't together, but I thought we were getting pretty close. I decided to stop thinking about it and go to bed. I texted Mallory a quick "gn" and fell asleep.
Mallory's POV
Me and Payton found this group of guys last night and we all had a blast. I didn't want to drink and I couldn't stop thinking about Vinnie, so Payton shoved some shots down my throat and I ended up getting pretty fucked up. The boys invited us back to their frat house but we declined and Ubered home. Nothing happened last night, just some fun dancing and we made some pretty great friends. But I know that post on tiktok room is going to have everybody thinking otherwise. Vinnie texted me "Gn" last night, he's always spelled out goodnight and put us signature white heart after it. I think he might be upset, and I want to talk to him about it when he wakes up. But.. he was the one who called me his friend, right??
Kovur and Mallory PM
Mallory: hey I just wanted to tell you Bc I know the guys are all gonna take vins side.
Kovur: okay, tell me what?
Mallory: me and Payton became friends with those guys last night, but that's it. I didn't hook up with the one I was hugging in the picture, I was super drunk and he was holding me up. I know Vinnie is probably upset right now but just the other night he called me his best friend, and I thought we were something more than that.
Kovur: yeah after that tiktok room post he stormed out of his room and got in his car. He was gone for a good 2 hours and he only does that when he's mad about something. But girlie I believe you 100% and I'll tell Alex to tell the boys what happened. You definitely need to talk to Vinnie tho
Mallory: I know, I will when he wakes up.
Kovur: wym? He's downstairs right now with everybody.
Mallory: oh.. he hasn't texted me at all.
Kovurs POV
I understand Vinnie being upset, that picture did make them see very touchy touchy. But he shouldn't be ignoring Mallory. I walked into the living room and pulled Alex into our room. I told him everything Mallory told me and asked him to help. He said he'll go talk to Vinnie and left.
Alex's POV
After kovur filled me in I went downstairs to talk to Vinnie. We went outside to the pool and sat down.
Vinnie: I just thought me and her were getting really close. I haven't even thought about other girls.
Alex: I know what you mean, but according to Kovur, nothing happened between her and that boy. He was just holding her up Bc of how drunk she was.
Vinnie: I just want to calm down right now, I don't want to accidentally blow up at her.
Alex: yeah but ignoring her won't make it any better. It will make her more upset.
Vinnie: I know. I guess I'll go FaceTime her.
Vinnie's POV
I facetimed Mallory and she told me everything, from them meeting to her and Payton rejecting their invite to the frat. It calmed me knowing nothing happened, but it does scare me how much I care about her and what she does with her life.
