Quinn sighed as she put the last box into the moving truck. She looked back at the apartment complex where she had lived for years. "It's for the best- I hope." She mumbled to herself. "Cmon Blinker! Let's get going to our new home!" With a click she opened her van door, Blinker immediately jumped into the passengers seat. Quinn drove leaving everything she knew about Wyoming, her friends, her family, and the most thing she would miss- her boyfriend William. Along the way she had to make bathroom breaks for Blinker since she was still so small. In total they had drove 1,484 miles all the way from Wyoming to Louisiana. As Quinn pulled up to the house, her jaw dropped, the roof had holes in it, a front window had been smashed, and under the moldy wood deck it smelt like dead skunk. "This can't be it! It looked so much nicer on the listing! Oh how could have I been so stupid!" She banged her head into the steering wheel. Blinker whined as he spotted the dead grass. "Maybe it's not so bad on the inside? Only one way to find out!" She opened her door and let Blinker out. She carefully walked up onto the deck, trying not to puke from the smell. She grabbed the handle and pushed. The smell was even worse inside, the floorboards were covered in a thick layer of dust. They walked around looking at their strange new home, as Quinn got near the basement door Blinker barked and tugged at her pants so get away from the door. "It's alright boy, if you don't want me to check it out right now then I won't, I bet you're starving! Let me go get your kibble!" Quinn ran back to the car grabbing the tote of kibble and a bowl. Blinker growled at the door, he knew something was off and he wasn't going to let Quinn go that door- no matter what. Quinn placed the bowl and filled it up with his steak flavored food. She put her hips, "I better start getting this place cleaned up!" She made a trip to the car and grabbed all the cleaning supplies she could. Quinn swept away the dust, she scrubbed away the mysterious goo on the counters, and washed anything moldy or looked even remotely disgusting down with bleach. By the time she was done the sun was starting to set, she grabbed a head light and a few flashlights and continued working in the dark. She had passed out somewhere between 12:00-3:00 A.M. As Quinn slept the basement stairs creaked as if something was going up them. The door knob wiggled, heavy breathing could be heard, blood oozed from the door dripping onto the dark wooden floor. A voice came from the basement it sounded as if it were glitching out "Quinn... come down here and we'll have some fun..." the door knob wiggled again, this time as if somebody was trying to rip the door off it's hinges.
