Chapter 9

Peter's POV
I woke up and had an idea. It's Friday last day of school and then the weekend! So... I might hang out with Wendy. It's just one day and it's not like the boys will miss me. I'm sure they will survive.
I fly down to somewhere close to the bus stop so nobody can see me flying. I walk down the path, with my bag on one shoulder. I see Wendy stood alone. Where's Melody and Alice? Then I see Melody whispering to a girl, looking at Wendy. She's talking about Wendy. I walk up to Wendy.
"Hey Wendy" I smile and hold her hand. Melody stops whispering and her mouth is wide open. The other girl seemed shocked too.
"P-Peter?" She stuttered looking at our hands.
"Roll with it. Melody was whispering about you." I whispered while Melody looked away.
"I know. She's betrayed me ever since we organised our outing." Wendy whispered back.
"Well she's jealous." I whispered and snickered. Wendy giggled and Melody saw that.
"Wendy. You know that outing?" I said so Melody hears.
"Yes Peter?" Wendy smiles also so Melody hears.
"Well why don't we call it a date?" I say.
"Oh Peter! Of course!" She smiled. Melody looked infuriated.
"Hi Wendy!" Melody says.
"Oh. Melody." Wendy says and sticks her nose up and looks away from her.
"Hey Pan." She said and twirls her hair does a small wave.
"Melody." I say and look down.
"So are we going to go on Sunday?" Melody says.
"I don't even know what your on about because I was going to take Wendy to my place Sunday." I say and look away.
"Oh. Well isn't that swell." Melody says and crosses her arms. Sarcasm added.
"Oh Melody. I hope you enjoy your new whisper friend because guess what? Your not getting this friend back." Wendy said and let go of my hand and walked onto the bus because at that point the bus was here.
"Ha." I said and followed her.
"Ugh!!! WENDY YOU WILL REGRET THIS YOU DUMB GIRL." Melody screams and goes back to her friend. I sit next to Wendy and Hiro was in front of us and... Vanellope?! She was sitting there.
"Vanellope I thought you had a car?" Wendy said as she sat down.
"Oh I do! But the bus seems more fun! It is! There's loads of Drama and I'm with you guys!" She smiled.
"Hey Peter so what happened out there?!" Hiro added. Hiro and Vanellope where sat up on their chairs and looking over the back of their seats.
"Melody. Jealous of Wendy." I shrugged and sat down.
"Weter?... No. Wenter? ... No. Pwendy?... Nope. Pendy!!! Has a nice ring to it don't you think?" Vanellope said. Wendy went bright red and I felt heat rising up my cheeks.
"Ha! Pan your blushing!" Hiro laughed.
"Shut up." I said and pulled my hat to my face.
"Can we at least see a bit of Pendy?!" Vanellope asked.
"Eh?!" Wendy said.
"Please?" Hiro said.
"L-like what?!" Wendy stuttered.
"I dunno. Kiss Peter on the cheek?" Vanellope shrugged like it was a casual thing.
"Eh?!?!" Wendy said as her eyes where wide open. I was thinking of kissing her on the cheek instead so that she didn't have to. So I leaned in to kiss her on the cheek but I missed... I kissed her on the... LIPS?! She leaned in too! She was actually going to kiss me! Oh god.
"OMG! YOU BOTH JUST KISSED EACH OTHER... ON THE LIPS!!! HA!" Vanellope shouted out loud and the whole bus goes silent. Melody stood up and and came over to us from the back.
"YOU BITCH!" Melody shouted and slapped Wendy. Then something unexpected happened...
