Wednesday

SO...things came up and I wasn't able to get to my journal. It's been what, almost a week? Since I last wrote.

Little bit of what happened in my life: we went to see Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings on Monday night. It was beyond amazing. Then picture day yesterday....and that's all I can remember

Today I want to talk about periods. Any boys reading this may leave :)

Fact: all women have periods. So why do we get all embarrassed opening pads in the bathroom!?!? Literally every female in that bathroom should understand. So since I'm at this new school, I've made a resolution to not be so embarrassed and waste time trying to open the pad slowly and quietly. because #1, they never open quietly, and #2 who cares if other girls know its your 'time of the month' !!

It is so nerve-wracking though walking from class to class, hoping that nothing has leaked. And when you stand up, ugh just the worst. And don' t forget when you laugh or sneeze. *face palm

Periods are terrible. And since they aren't going anywhere, we may as well just roll with it. So stop stressing over the pad wrapper being so loud in the bathroom. We don't need that extra anxiety. Just do what you need to do in that bathroom. And in that small chance that other girls look at you funny for being on your period, just brush it off, because they will have their turn of bleeding. Us girls shouldn't be judging others. Help one another!! Ask if you need a pad, or discreetly tell someone if blood leaked on their clothes

Thanks for reading, hope this can help someone :)
