"Yo ma peeps" I shouted as I entered Josies house
"Hey gurlllfrienddd" Nina shouted
"We're in the kitchen" Josie said
I walked to the kitchen dumping my bag on the staircase on the way.
"Watcha doin?" I asked as I peered around the door frame. I opened the fridge and searched for the Ice Tea Peach, that's my favourite drink. I grab the can and open it. I turn around to see that they are sitting ON the table putting crisps in one bowl and gummy worms and gummy bears in the other. Yup thats us we like to sit ON tables.
"Watcha doin?" I ask for the second time whilst putting the Pringles on the table. Crap *mental face palm* I forgot to get bubble gum, I'm not gonna mention it though just in case she forgets.
"We're putting crisps and gummys in bowls" Josie said
"No shit" I say sarcastically
"We were planning on watching X-factor USA before we go swimming" Nina said
"It's her favourite TV show now" Josie stated pointing to Nina with her thumb
"Wasn't your favourite show Criminal Minds?" I asked her
"A girl can change her mind can't she?" Nina said
Ok just 2 days ago she was crazy about Criminal Minds and made me watch the first 2 seasons and now she likes X-Factor. Yeah ok I expect it from her actually.
Nina unlocks her iPhone to check the time "C'mon guys, it starts in ten!" and then she leaves the kitchen.
"I'm gonna get another 3 cans of Ice Tea ok?" I half asked half told Josie who picked up the bowls and walks out of the kitchen.
I set my half full can on the table and walk back to the fridge. I open the door feeling the fresh cold air on my face. I grab 3 more cans.
"One for Josie, one for Nina and another for me" I spoke to myself holding them close to my chest since I don't have 3 hands. I take mine from the table and leave the kitchen.

I place the cans right next to the 2 bowls on the coffee table while Josie turns on the TV. Both Nina and I still don't know how to switch that thing on, its has a bunch of buttons and a set up system you have to go through before it switches on. Weird right?
Josie comes to sit down beside me on the couch. I take off my flip flops and sit cross legged, Josie sits down and rests her feet on the coffee table and Nina is on the floor with her back rested against the table, looking up at the screen. She's just as excited as a 5 year old getting money from the tooth fairy for the first time!.
The TV switches on and I see that there still is 5 minutes left until the programme starts. Besides the low sound of the adverts on the screen its quiet so I decide to tell them about what happened when I went shopping earlier for mum.
"So, you know I went shopping for mum earlier" I began and they turned to look at me "Well, guess who there was?!"
"No way!" They said in unison.
"Yup, she was there with Gucci and Prada written all over her" I said rolling my eyes.
"Did she tell you anything?" Nina asked
"Yeah she did,sadly,but nothing new. She just 'complimented' me and all the usual crap but then I told her what I needed to tell her and she pretended to take a call" I said marking the word complimented with my fingers.
They both laughed and I laughed along with them. But we were soon cut off by Nina shouting "Its starting, its starting!"
We all turn our attention to the TV to see the judges appear on the screen and Josie turns up the volume.
"Welcome back to the X-factor USA" the invisible presenter says.

It felt like forever watching people audition and some of them were really bad!!. The programme is almost over now.
"Join us next week, where we will be in New York!" Simon announces and then the theme song appears and the programme is over.
"OH MY GUMMY BEARS WITH SUGAR!!" Nina screams "they are coming here next week!" she says
"Well Simon didn't say Westchester..." I said trailing off.
Nina and Josie look at each other and smile then turn to me.
"You should go and audition!" they say together.
