To put it simply...the future is shit. The hero commission fell a couple of years back along with heroes, you can't walk peacefully without almost getting murdered by either Nomus or drugged-out regular people, and there is a more than 75% chance of dying every day. He was okay with dying at this point. There's only a handful of actually alright people still alive. He didn't mind dying. No, he didn't. What he did mind was HOW he died. That's the only reason he's still kicking is that he couldn't die in a glaze of glory yet. Or at least not painfully. Was that selfish? Yeah, it was. He didn't care. Now, Izuku knows he can't complain. I mean, it was mostly his fault that the world came to this. Or at least he had helped. Like a lot.

Most days, whenever he had to fight people who attacked him or kill some stray Nomus he reminds himself it wouldn't have happened if he didn't help the league. If instead of joining them, he just saved them from themselves instead. If instead of betraying his friends, he'd just told them. If he had held Toshi close instead of...

Shit.

There was an explosion not too far away. By the sounds of it, another Nomu attack. Fuck. This was bad. This was very bad. All for one was still on his ass. How fucking annoying. Izuku grabbed his things. That included two fully loaded guns, 23 knives (not including the ones he already had on him), a taser, a pocket staff, and quirk nullifying syringes. He was almost out of the syringes. He would need to make the trek to make more. If the lab wasn't already taken over (It probably was). As he finished putting on his things, the door of the bunker he was in slammed down. He didn't have time to register who it was or what it was as he threw three knives aiming at the stomach, chest, and brain. The person dodged. He stopped and narrowed his eyes.

"Woah there. Aren't you aggressive?"

Izuku took in the person in front of him. They had long curly white hair and were wearing some kind of hero costume (whiplash). It was an all-white bodysuit with a utility belt. They had a bright smile and looked way cleaner than he could ever hope to be. Their white masks covered the top of their face and their eyes with tinted lenses. Who the hell were they?

"Well I'm not sure if you've noticed but there are multiple monsters around and actual humans try to attack each other whenever they meet. But yeah. You're right. No reason to be aggressive."

Izuku deadpanned looking at them. They chuckled and tossed Izuku's knives back. Izuku caught them and put them back in their holsters.

"Nice to see you haven't lost your sense of humor, Midoriya Izuku. I was hoping you'd be here."

Izuku narrowed his eyes and kept his hand hovering over the knives on his thighs. There was a small thump above them but Izuku ignored it.

"How the hell do you know my name? How did you know where I would be? Who the fuck are you?"

The person chuckled again and put their hands up as if to surrender. There was a louder thump and Izuku glanced up. Then the person got serious.

"None of that matters currently. Right now all you need to know is that I have a quirk that can fix all this. I need your help though."

This person is an idiot. They walk into his bunker, tell him they have some OP quirk that can save the world, and try to convince them to help. Why would they need help if they likely know he's quirkless? Should he just go along with it? See this person's motives? If his quirk can end this then why haven't they done anything? They said they need his help. Is he some sort of factor? Before Izuku could keep spiraling the person sighed.

"Wow. The shit in your head is no joke. You're as smart as I remember."

Izuku recoiled. Sirens in his head going off even more. He had dropped the mumbling a couple of years after joining the league. So it wasn't that he was speaking aloud. Maybe a mind-reading quirk? They speak as they know him. Do they? If so, why not find him sooner? Too many unknowns.
