The Other Celestial Terran

Chapter Four

Kelish stood and walked away from him, sitting on one of the empty countertops. "YOU ARE SO FRUSTRATING LOKI!" She snapped at him. He just stood there. "You would NOT listen to me...I just want to TALK to you, you ANNOYING FRUSTRATING CELESTIAL!" He shouted, but instantly regretted that last word. Kelish looked at him baffled. "So you DID KNOW! Was that your plan from the start? Huh." She walked towards him creating a dagger as she did "Get close to the being and manipulate her by.." She said angrily but Loki just grabbed her hand and placed it closer to his heart. She could feel it. She didn't want to believe him. She refused to. Tears welling up once more, falling on their own. "Making you THINK I loved you..." you could see the hurt in his eyes, but she felt like he was hiding something. "Tell me that isn't true! Tell me you LOVE ME LOKI! TELL ME EGO WAS WRONG AND YOU DIDN'T DO ALL THAT..." she yelled but the dagger fell as tears fell still, her voice so very low. "..just for power..." she hadn't been able to look him in the eyes, but when she did. She stepped back. "Everything you heard from Ego is all true. It was all for a bigger glorious purpose." It was like a million daggers stabbing her as she fell back. Loki tried to help her up, but she smacked his hand and all you could see was PURE hatred. "Ego was right....he was always right...I feel so dumb...is this how its going to be?  Every time?" She looked around as the world seemed to spin. A sudden realization came over her. "This is how it is, with falling in love. You will just get hurt and abused. Over and over again till their is nothing left." She didn't want it. none of it. She thought about Strange, was he the same way? "It will always be about power...even Stephen will be the same way...he wants power for himself doesn't he?"

Loki had to act. She didn't let him finish. He could see her slipping away as a darkness emerged from her. Something he had never seen before. He shouted at her so she could hear him. "NO! He isn't Kel LISTEN TO ME! I only had that feeling at first but I" She hovered now, a dark aura oozing from her. Cutting him off she didn't want to hear any of it. "DONT LIE TO ME! I LOVED YOU! I LOVED YOU!" She shouted over and over. Her heart completely broken. The dark aura only grew and made it harder to get through to her. It started forming a circle around her. Dark mist surrounding, eyes a glowing purple hue. With her hands she started creating creatures. All of them dark with glowing red eyes. They stood in front of Kel. Loki had appeared behind Kel. He just kept on trying to get her to stop. She kept pushing him away. Smacking and hitting him with whatever she could create. Loki vowed to get through by fighting back, no matter what.

Wanda and Peter stood there with Strange. "I didn't know he could do that! That's cheating." Peter said as he hit the wall. "Where did they go...does anyone know?" Wanda and Peter shook their heads. "We need to find the others." They ran to the living room and Strange opened portals for them all to come through. "Everyone...Kelish has been taken..by Loki." Tony and Thor had stepped through. "Wait, how is that possible.." Thor sighed and sat on the sofa. "He has teleportation...among other ANNOYING powers." Wanda and Peter just stood next to Strange. "I couldn't help.." Peter started. Tony looked at the kid. "It's not your fault." Wanda agreed and hugged him. "Hey you went to get help...if you intervened who knows what could have happened." Clint spoke up. "Whose Kelish? Why does Loki have that person." Tony turned. "Right you and Nat were off helping Fury. She is a half human half something else. We were testing to see what if we could pinpoint exactly what that was." Clint nodded and thought for a moment. "okay they why does Loki want her? Strange what did she say?" Stephen tried to keep his composure. "Not much was spoken but it did feel like they knew one another. Perhaps he was the one she was running from." Thor just looked off into nothingness ," My brother...he would not go after a woman unless he wanted something from her...perhaps its her powers he seeks." Tony spoke up. "If that is the case then we need to figure out where they went and fast. We don't need a New York incident part two. Strange was holding back his anger. He felt jealous. Why? He couldn't peg it. "where would Loki go? anyone have an idea?" Nat looked at Clint, "Well remember Clint was turned by Loki during New York? Did he have any sort of base?" Everyone looked at him. "well their was one place...its fuzzy but I think I can recall"

Tony looked at Clint, "Great jog that memory, everyone else get ready quick." It only took a moment for Clint to recall. Everyone was ready. Strange's hands moved in a circle. "Please let us not be to late"

Loki fought back as Kelish unleashed monster after monster. She was slowly losing it. "You are a liar LOKI! A LIAR!" She screamed over and over. Her heart couldn't take it. She was ready to give in to the power she had yet to realize. As she floated their fighting with Loki, dark creatures seemed to appear out of nowhere. All ready to strike at a moment's notice. "I gave you my heart. Why did you lie." Empty and lacking any sort of emotion Kelish's eyes eyes went from purple to swirls, like galaxies. "EGO LIED TO YOU! I LOVE YOU, YOU STUPID WOMAN!" Loki yelled back, trying his best not to lose it. She wouldn't hear it. The monsters attacked, sending Loki flying.

 Not a moment too soon Strange and the rest ran through the portal. Everyone was in shock. Kelish saw them and pointed. The creatures attacked. Everyone split up and Thor ran to Loki. "what the hell did you do!" Thor shouted as he grabbed him. Meanwhile Peter and Wanda teamed up. "These are nothing like the ones I've seen before!" Peter said his back to Wanda. "What!" She looked at him, he just shrugged and jumped off at one. "Oops.." Tony in full Iron Man mode went around taking the bigger ones down. "Someone needs to get to Kelish..it seems to be coming from her." Banner was busy, Strange rose from the ground having been hit by one of the bigger ones. "I'll do it..." 

Meanwhile Loki pushed Thor off. "I didn't do anything, it was someone else who filled her with lies! I love her brother." He could see the truth in his eyes. "Okay...well we will distract them. Go and get her." He swung his hammers and was off. Loki wiped his face, he was determined to get to her first before Strange. 

Kelish stood in the center of the battlefield. A dark aura emanating from her as monsters were created one by one. A fraction of her powers were only being used. "Kelish! Stop this! It's me Stephen!" He fought his way. Right behind him was Loki. Kelish saw Stephen, but she was lost to the darkness. Though a glint of hope showed as she seemed to say help me. Loki saw this and it only fuled him to fight on. Strange made a run for it. Grabbing her yet she fought back. Something inside him made his heart hurt seeing her like this. Loki shouted but couldn't be heard with all the fighting. Everyone was busy as Strange grabbed her closely and kissed her. A pink surge of power like a wave came from her. As it passed the creatures, they crumbled. Everyone stopped and looked around. You could see the two locked in a kiss as the last of the powerful waves subsided. Loki was stopped dead in his tracks. Thor saw the kiss and immediately looked for his brother, fearful of what he would do. Everyone but Thor was fixated on Strange and Kelish. As he tried to run to his brother he stopped. Tears were falling mixed with anger. He teleported out. Kels eyes widened, but this feeling..it was different. It scared her. Pushing back she looked at Stephen. "Why did you do that..how did you..no one could ever calm me down like that." She stammered. Stephen just held her closely once more. She felt so weak, it showed as she spoke. "Did you feel that...like a wave of serenity and something else....love?.." She slowly felt herself pass out. "I did..I can't logically explain why I did that..wait..." Strange spoke softly. All of a sudden a glimpse of a memory came to her from her childhood. He looked at Kelish. "Steven...why do you look so familiar..." she touched his face before passing out. Why did she think of love? Strange was too taken back by his rash action. 'Love? Did I hear right?' He thought. Tony, Banner, Clint and Thor ran up. "Loki is gone...is she ok?" Thor asked. Steven nodded. "Good I think we should go now." Tony said as Peter, Nat, and Wanda joined them. "That was scary..." Peter said with a sigh. Wanda eyed him. "Indeed.." Strange handed Kel to Thor. He opened a portal back to the compound. They walked through it and were gone.
