Akash

  Akash sat there watching his sister pick out wedding dresses. She was just 18, and she tried to find guys from abroad. She wants to fall in love, but she also wanted to secure her brother's future. She kept looking and ended up finding a guy. She found him funny and seemed to be her type. Yashoda was resistant at first. because she did not want her daughter to get married so early. "But Simla has just graduated highschool! How can she already get married?" Akash questioned. Yashoda sighed as she hugged him. "She has fallen in love, and she is moving across the world to secure your future." She whispered. Akash became silent and thankful. His sister and mother were the only two women that hadn't hurt him. They only wanted good for him. However, there was a lot of pressure on him to succeed. Without his sister, he did not know how he would be able to handle anything. He gave his sister a hug. Simla was startled since Akash was never the type to show affection or emotions. She held her baby brother and tears began rolling down their cheeks. Their mother walked in grabbing the saree that she went to go get and saw her two children hugging. She felt her heart break as she remembered that soon they would be separated. She ran out of her room and covered her mouth attempting to calm down. She wiped her tears as she heard her son sniffling as he walked out of the room. She walked in to see her daughter trying to hide her tears. Akash needed some air. He was dealing with a break up, and he could not loose his sister. His sister was the only one he could even tell about his break up. He felt as if everything was falling apart, and he thought everyone he loved was being taken away from him.
  He did like his future brother-in-law. He was a kind man and loved his sister. His sister chose wise men. Akash knew his sister was smart, and that she would never be easily fooled by a dumb man. He took out his phone, and he started scrolling through Facebook. All of a sudden he saw a post that his soon to be brother-in-law, Bhannu posted. It was a picture of his sister with two other girls. Akash already knew his sister, but there was one girl who was much younger than his sister. Then, there was one that stood out to him. She looked around his age, and once he saw her, he stood there for awhile. He did not realize how long he was staring at her until his phone screen began to slowly decrease in brightness.
