The runaway kids camp
20-6-1940
Dear Maman et papa.
Today we had the misfortune of finding a camp of kids and teenagers, after some asking around they are all from different places in France. Why did they trust tell me so quickly to tell me I don't understand. They also look so different from one another different eye, hair, skin, speech, scars, even tattoos I could go on! I even saw these girls no younger then 8 twins they were with skin and hair as white as paper and eyes as blue as the sky. I have never seen a group of people work so alike and think so similar but be so different if they can make it work why can the world leaders. So far the camp hasn't been found it's quite amazing they have really built something here. Anna is trying to get them to move in fear of someone finding them sooner or later. I do not fill the same survival of the fits if they are dumb enough to still here they are dumb enough to die here. Thanks to Ruby reading my letters well I was asleep she had managed to convince more kids to come with us all boys not even just more dead weight. I was force to learn their names Jean was one of them 17 I think he brown hair and brown eyes, beautiful they are. Although I would never say it aloud. Tommy 15 he has black hair and blue eyes like me nothing special. And Lou he has blond hair with brown eyes not as good as Jean's though. I think ruby has a crush on him so she gets annoyingly giggly around him. I have chosen that we are going to leave tomorrow at the crack of dawn if they are not up by then I leave them. The camp said they would give up four cut pieces  of bread, they wished they could give more but they gave up what they could. Some said they would pray for us. I shell not pray for them they not worth my time.
