"Anvi tell us more about you. We know Dia for like a year now, but you never met us." Jenny solicited.
"I was quite busy and took multiple trips abroad to visit the excavation sites." Anvika tried to sound confident with her half-truth and Dia being the goofball came to her rescue by diverting the topic.
"I loved meeting you Anvi. We will make great friends. Can we meet sometime soon?" Asked Jenny hopefully.
" Yes, for sure." Anvika beamed at her. They embraced each other before parting ways.
"Looks like these three will be having a great time together." Daniel crooned smiling to which Siddharth nodded with a grin.
Daniel held Jenny by her waist looking at her all happy made him feel contended as he felt like falling in love with her all over again. Jenny's family wasn't supportive of her love for painting and always preferred his elder brother and sister over her. She got bullied at school but then she decided to stand up for herself and flew to Seattle to pursue her dream for painting with the help of her grandfather, the only person who cared about her. There she met Daniel who was there pursuing the same course. They fell for each other deeply, dated for 4 years and during that time opened the Huddleston gallery and got married. It wasn't easy but together they crossed the hurdles and now they are all merry.
"You two are really made for each other." Anvika admired their bond with gleaming eyes. They looked at each other with hearty eyes.
Both the couples left after Adhiraj who left early due to some work.
Anvika was repeatedly told to leave soon, and Dia asked her to text once she reaches home.
"Hmm, very well then I will sign those paper tomorrow." She finished talking as the call declined. Anvika turned around to open the gate of her passenger seat only to gasp in shock when a figure appeared in front of her. Her right palm rested on the car's window while her left hand clutched the phone tightly against her chest.
"Ye-yes?" She stuttered out clearly taken aback. His towering figure loomed over her. His gaze silently raked in her appearance; he tilted his head slightly still engrossed in her. Her warm ivory skin glistened under the lights but what captivated him were her innocent brown eyes that seemed to encompass all the good and warmth in the world.
She regained her composure stepping back and she stood tall with her height of 5'6 and pointed heels. She looked him in the eye with a cautious yet confident gaze," What is it Mr. Agnihotri?"
He smirked amused, he kept his arms inside his pants pockets after flapping his black overcoat and bent slightly for a closer look. Anvika didn't step back and stood on her ground fearless. His woody and musky scent filled her nostrils invading her personal space, her stomach did a flip before her heart thudded loudly at the closeness.
