Aro's Decision

The flights was long and pretty boring. And that's coming from me. A guy who likes staring into his mates eyes for fun. But I couldn't do that. Bella was focusing to hard on trying to figure out Aro's diversion. I guess she was trying to focus on Alice. I opened my mouth to say something but she quickly put a finger to my mouth.

"Shh! I'm concentrating!" She hissed. I put my hands up in defeat. I let out a big sigh.

"Now arriving in: Volterra, Italy." The robotic female voice said. Bella let out a huge hmph.

When we got off the plane, I started rummaging through my bag to find; my old Volturi crest and two black cloaks. When I found what I needed, I handed one to Edward. He eyed it.

"For protection from the sun." I said easily. He sighed then took the cloak from my hands gently. Slipped on the cloak and crest easily. As did Edward.

We walked out into the daylight. I had contacted Dimitri to come pick us up. He gladly agreed.

"Bella!" He said running up to me.

"Hey Dim! I missed you!" I said hugging him. He hugged me back.

"It's been too long Bells!"

"I know." Edward was tense as a stone. I elbowed him in the ribs. Say hi! He rubbed his rib and extended his hand.

"Hello Dimitri. I'm Edward. Bella's husband. Pleasure to meet you." Edward said formally. I smiled triumphantly. We all chuckled.

"Please follow me." Dimitri said showing us to an opening under the city. When we were sure there were no humans around, we all took off running to the throne room. As we entered, Aro looked up from the book he was reading. He was reading about vampires like me. How strange.

"Bella!" Aro exclaimed appearing right in front of me. He took my hand in both of his papery hands. "It's been far to long. 206 years?" He chuckled.

"Yes Aro. It has been too long. I really should visit more often. I forgot how beautiful Italy was!" I exclaimed. "But Aro, I didn't come here to admire the beauty. I came here to talk." We started walking down the long corridor.

"What ever is the matter dear?" He asked.

"Well remember that girl who became human again because of your relationship with her? Well it happened again. But this time, the change was my doing. Her name is Samantha. She had a really good bond with me. I'm wondering if she will still be aloud to live with our secret in her hands." I said in one breath. He looked at me with a happy expression.

"Bel-la, I'm so deeply sorry. But that was centuries ago. We can't have another human on the loose knowing our secret." He said saying my name longer than it is.

"Aro, please. I beg of you. I came to you because I thought you would spare this one thing for me. Please Aro. Please." I say pleadingly.

"We can't." He grabbed my hand. My sheiks was in act so he couldn't get through. No one could.

He took a deep breath in to try and catch her scent. But I hadn't seen her in a while.

"We will find her Bella. Whether you like it or not." He said. I pulled my hand back and almost growled. But I kept my cool and walked out.

As I walked out, Edward was standing there waiting for me. He saw my expression.

"We won't let anything happen to her." He said grabbing my hands and pulling them to his chest.

"I know we won't." I said before kissing him.
