Chapter 3
I woke up to the cold of November. Shivering, I picked up my phone that was still on the ground. Then, it all came back to me. Someone was screaming. I hope that it's not Anna.
Luckily, when I came to school Anna was there. I was puzzled.
"Hey, who was that girl screaming on your phone yesterday. Someone answered it, but no one spoke." I said.
Anna froze. "Oh, I just wanted to tell you, "Happy almost birthday!" she said with a somewhat fake smile.
"My birthday isn't untilanother five and half months!" My eyes lowered.
"Yeah I know. What's wrng with me wanting to call you for that?"
"Nothing. Nothing." I said suspiciously.
"Ok, fine. I was with Kevin yesterday. That's what I wanted to tell you."
"Kevin, as in Kevin Murphy the junior?" I said with disbelief.
"Uh, well, uh, yeah." She said, blushing.
"Well, didn't you score?" I gawked. Lucky duck.
"Uh, well, sure. If you say so." She pulled a fake laugh. Kevin Murphy was quaterback of the football and he was cute. He was really nice. Why is she acting so weird?
"Uh-huh, well I have to get to class. I'll talk to you later." I walked away. I could feel her eyes on me.
After I got home, I decided to call Anna. She didn't answer. Why wasn't Anna answering her phone all of a sudden? Maybe, she's busy or something...
I got a text from Spero, it said
"Anime, I really really miss you D: .... Wanna hang out this weekend?"
I replyed. "I don't think I can, it's Anna's birthday on Saturday. U busy on Friday?"
"Nope :). We can go to my place?"
"Sounds like a plan, or a date rather. xD"
"Haha, you really just made me 'laugh out loud'. So what's up?"
"Nothin, I just finished homework and Im insanely bored. U?"
"Im aching to kiss you </3"
"Aww, really :D ?"
"Yeahh... ): "
"Aww, *blushes*, wanna go to the park?"
"Ehh.. :P "
"We can go on the see-saws? Hopefully, there wont b any kids to fight for it :D"
"I suppose, but just cuz u mentioned see-saws. Meet you there :))"
"Mom, I'm going to the park for a little bit alright?" I hollered. She walked towards me.
"Homework finsiehd?" she said.
"Of course." I said with a grin.
"Who are you going with?" she said eyeing me suspiciously.
"Uh, you know, Spero." I cringed.
"I want to meet this Spero on Friday. Got it?" she said. Coincedence much?
I did a military-wave. "Sir yes sir." I said. We both laughed.
As I closed the door, fresh air enlightened me. Ahh. I love air. I jogged to the park; not wanting to lose a second with Spero. Finally, the park approaching. I could see Spero on the see-saw already. I laughed to myself.
