"Where is he?" You wondered as you sat on your porch steps waiting for Calum to get home from the studio. You were supposed to go back to the old ice cream joint you both spent practically all of your summers at when you were younger to catch up on things. Ever since his band started getting big, the time you spent with him seemed less and less.
Suddenly your phone vibrated and Calum's name popped up on the screen. "Be there in 10 minutes. Xx," it read. It was only 4:30, so if he were to get to your house by 4:45, you would still have the whole night to catch up on things.
10 minutes later, you saw Calum's car pull in to the driveway. You didn't even wait for him to stop the car before you ran up to the door and opened it. He jumped out of the car and gave you the best hug that you have ever had. You suddenly remembered how good he smelled, the faint smell of his cologne was so wonderful to you. You both hugged for a good 4 minutes, but it was the best 4 minutes of your life.
After a minute, you both realized the car was still running, so you got in the passenger side and Calum got in the drivers seat. It was only a 1 minute ride, at most.
When you got there, you both went right to the counter to order your ice cream, you ordered a vanilla cone and he ordered chocolate with nuts on top. When you pulled out your money, he pushed your hand down gently and payed for it himself. When he got done paying, you both sat down and started catching up
