 [ Zenitsus pov]

   I hate math! It's so stupid I'll never need half this stuff in the real world! I wonder what class that boar kid has right now. I think I've seen him go into the study hall classroom at this time, or was he leaving it, uh I don't know.
"Zenitsu." Said my math teacher. "Y-yes?"SHIT I WAS SPACING OUT AGAIN! "Do you know the answer?"what do I say?!  I looked at the board. OH I KNOW THIS ONE! "Yes it's 5.7 squared sir." I hope I'm right..." Correct very well! Ok class there's only a few minutes before class ends you may pack up."
  
     I pack up my stuff quickly. I stare at a girl in my class, she's the most popular girl in school! And she's super pretty. She'll never notice me- The bell rang cutting off my thought. I quickly left and headed to my locker.
   

]Tanjiro pov]

   I'm pretty sure his locker was over here ...ah found it. A little smile appeared on my face as kids poured out into the hallway zenitsus hair was different from the others. Blond but more yellow that usual, his eyes the same color as his hair. You could spend days staring into them."...jiro? Tanjiro?"  OH CRAP ZENITSUS BEEN SAYING MY NAME! " Sorry I was uh- looking for inoske and spaced out ha..."
"Oh...well I can help you look for him if you'd like?" I had known that he had went home already. "Oh no I'm sure he's fine! He probably left without me already!"

[Inoske pov]

  Where's tanjiro? We usually walk home together. I hope he didn't bail on me. We usually leave study hall together and go to his house for a little bit. He said he'd be out in a minute but it's been 30 minutes. I'll go look for him I guess.

      As I'm walking down the halls trying to find them all the other kids are leaving... probably going home to thier family... something I wish I could do.... nevermind that I gotta find tanjiro!! I walk down hall after hall until I spot his hair.  I could spot his pretty raven hair anywhere.  "He-" I stopped walking towards him when I saw the blond kid. Why was he talking to him? Did he forget about me...? As I was about to turn around I heard him say something "...He probably left without me already!" Me leav without you? You left me. I walked out. No I ran out. I hate tanjiro. No I hate that blond kid for taking him away!

     Was I not strong enough? Was I not nice enough? Was I too much? Maybe it's my fault he didn't wanna talk to me.

      ]Zenitsu pov]

I heard Inoske approach but I was to focused on tanjiro. His voice was so calming, it almost made me wanna cry. I saw him running and well heard him too. Why was he running? Wait I thought he left? Whatever. "So Zenitsu where do you live?" Tanjiro asked happily.            "Oh uh I don't know the street but it's by that park, the one with the big tree." Tanjiro smiled.  His smile was so genuine and adorable. "I live close to there too! Wanna walk home together?". "Sure!" I replied. Tanjiro was almost jumping with excitement.

        The walk was pretty quiet and kinda awkward. I wanted to say something but I couldn't...ah I got it."You said you and Inoske walk home together, so does he live near by as well?" I didn't really wanna know but we needed a conversation starter. "Uh no actually, he lives pretty far he just always comes over after school then I walk him home!" I gave my reply and then we talked about our family.

        I started but when it came tanjiros turn he looked sad or as if he didn't want to talk about it. " Well... Most of my family died in a fire....the only survivor is my sister but since the fire she was diagnosed as mute. I still don't know why I kinda spaced out after they said that so I didn't find out the reason..." I felt bad for bringing up families." Oh I'm sorr-" I was caught off guard when suddenly his sound changed. His eyes were different as well...I was honestly scared." The worst thing about it is that the fire wasn't an accident...I will find the person who killed my family and I will get revenge." I was startled by what he said. His family was killed in a fire. AND HE HAD A SISTER?! WELL SINCE TANJIROS SO CUTE HIS SISTER MUST BE CUTE TOO- wait...did I just call tanjiro cute... HE'S A BOY I CANT FEEL THAT WAY. I realized I hadn't said anything for a minute. "I'm sorry I brought up family. I uh didn't know." Tanjiro took a moment to reply then he looked at me and smiled "It's fine. Well we're almost to the park, what way do you go?" He was acting like nothing happened. I don't blame him talking about bit probably made him sad.

          "Oh uh I go left, you?"I was hoping he went the same way so we could walk together a little longer. I felt appreciated that he told me about his family, I felt like we were already good friends because of that. "Oh I go right, bummer... would you want to walk to school together tomorrow?" I looked at tanjiro and saw that he was blushing a little. That was cute.  He's shay asking. "Of course! Should we exchange numbers? I usually over sleep...ha" I hope I helped him by asking instead of making him ask. "Uh y-yes that would be nice" he was blushing and looking away then he handed me his phone
I entered my number and by time I was done we were already at the end where we would go our different ways. "Bye tanjiro!" I was sad we had to part. "Goodbye Zenitsu, I'll text you when I get home!" He flashed a quick smile and ran off.

    [Tanjiros pov]
   Talking about my family was a little much for me but I'm sure I'll be fine, I'll just be a little sad. Maybe bi should text Inoske to make sure he got home alright. Maybe I should apologize too...I'm pretty sure I smelt him earlier but I was to busy talking to Zenitsu I didn't realize. Man I'm a horrible friend. Once I got home I took off my shoes at the door and headed to my room. Nezuko appeared to be talking a nap. OH TEAH I WAS GONNA TEXT ZENITSU! I take my phone out and text him.

    He isn't answering... maybe he's just busy. Well I guess I'll change. Oh my phone started vibrating. Incoming video call from Zenitsu.

"Hey Zenitsu need something?"

AHHHH 1158 WORDS THATS MORE THAN USUAL LMAO IM VERY SORRY IT TAKES ME SO LONG TO WRITE THESE I REALIZED THESE ARE REALLY ONLY GONNA GET UPLOADED WHEN I HAVE THE MOTIVATION TO WRITE SO SORRY AGAIN!!! I wanted to add some spice because it felt boring and for tanjiros family I didn't really know what to say happened because well in the AU you could say there's no demons...so yea arson it is. I didn't wanna go into detail about Zenitsus family since I've heard alot of different things and head cannons for it so let's just say he doesn't live alone and I forgot his name but he lives with that one old dude !! Anyways I'm still deciding if I wanna make Inoske like tanjiro or just views him as a very important friend or something but yea I'll try to upload more  SOON HOPEFULLY!!!
