lawrences arms wrap tight around dianas shoulders before she has to leave. adam notices the tension between the two of them, lawrence and alison, and apparently lawrence does as well.
he lets go of his daughter after pressing a kiss to the top of her head, smiling down at her, and adam does the same, hands in his pockets.
when they leave, lawrence stands up, drawing in a sharp breath before turning to adam. they hug, they always hug when diana has to leave, because adam can tell how much it hurts him to let her go, even if theyll see each other the next weekend.
lawrence pulls away, and adam stays put, watching him walk to his bedroom in silence.
