After that night, Kokonoi and I never met again. I was hoping to see him next month, but then I remember, there will be no hearing next month. That night as well, Kokonoi left me with so many thoughts and questions that he never answered and left me confused. Like always.

But I'm sure of one thing: his reason for falling out of love with me is not true. He loves me. Kokonoi still loves me, and I have the feeling Akane and her family have something to do with this.

I ran another round of background checks, this time a little deeper because their family is unknown and finding information about them makes it a little more difficult than we expected. I need to ask someone for help to get what I want.

I also remember Kokonoi talking about the money before, saying that it would be him paying for what Akane needs. If this is all about the money, Kokonoi didn't need to go this far, and I even checked his other bank account, which is almost at its limit already. That only means he spends too much on them already.

I'll believe what I felt and what Kokonoi told me last. Even if I can't understand him clearly, I'm not that dumb not to feel something is going wrong.

Wearing my corporate clothes, I walk to the halls of the hospital with my heels clicking on the floor, which catches the attention of the employees around me. I ignore their greetings as my bodyguard and Miss Sunny follow me from behind.

We arrived at the hospital room where Miss Sunny did not even knock but simply opened the door for me. I entered without hesitation, and the door closed. Looking at who's inside it's just Akane and her parents, surprised to see me visiting. It's morning, and Kokonoi doesn't come here at this time.

"You're not greeting the owner of this hospital that gives discounts on your bills?" I raised my eyebrow as I asked and got beside her.

"Good morning, Y/N-"

"Mrs. Hajime." I looked down on her, and she lowered her head.

"Good morning... Mrs. Hajime." Looking around, they've been transferred to another room already, and that's because of me. After watching the situation unfold and giving a stare to her parents, I give my stares back to her again.

"I'll get to the point." I started that, and she gulped as soon as I spoke again. "I wanted to know what all of you did to make Kokonoi divorce me, because I'm sure you all know we are married. Our wedding has been broadcast throughout the whole world; it's impossible that any of you don't know he has a wife, and that's me."

Because if this girl is as nice and decent as Kokonoi has told me, she won't ask for an already married man to be by her side. Unless she wants to be the other woman. No one responded to my words as I kept my eyes looking down on Akane in her bed.
