I want to laugh
When I was asking questions
You said that that couldn't be it
You said I would have been diagnosed earlier
You brushed it off as the laziness of a teenager
But look at me now!
With a proper answer
And proper support and medication
So those in the same boat
If you feel that something is wrong
Keep pushing, find someone that will listen and answer you
If not, be petty and spiteful
Throw their own research back in their faces
(I'm still a bit pissed about it taking 4 years to be diagnosed with ADHD as when I was 14 I was asking my doctor about what could be the reason behind my difficulty focusing. I was diagnosed with Depression and Social Anxiety [Which I do have as well] but my ADHD was overlooked because it's primarily inattentiveness. I've known that there was something off since I was 10 [When I first started expressing suicidal thoughts, though I don't like to admit it usually.] but now I'm trying to pull myself together into a functioning adult. Still need to find a prescription for my insomnia that works for me though.)

Poems
PoetryJust some poems. Some I wrote for school, others for fun, and there's even one that I based a book off of. I don't actually know if these count as poems though since I don't write much poetry.
