─────────────I really needed this. This freedom. Even if it's only gonna last for 3 and a half hours, it was enough for me.
I took in each and every moment of it. The whole time, I didn't actually do anything. All I did was stand along the road and watch cars pass by, or sit on a bench reminiscing on old memories. The fresh air outside has got me refreshed. It's probably one of the best things that happened to me in a while.

After what seemed like an hour or two, I took out my phone and looked at the clock. It's 12:00.
Already? Why does time fly so fast when I don't want it to? I guess it's time for me to head back.

As I got up to leave, I heard my stomach grumbling. How easily I foget that I didn't even take anything for dinner.

I observed my surroundings and the thing my eyes landed on made my mouth water.
There was a food stall nearby and I could easily smell the aroma of.......food.

I took a deep breath and walked towards the stall. They won't recognize me right? I mean what would a world-renowned fashion designer be doing here in the middle of the night.

But here I was, my mouth watering from the tempting fragrance of freshly fried chicken.
I walked to the stall and looked at the owner, a lady in her fifties.

"Hello, can I  have a fried chicken please" I voiced at the lady standing at the stall.

"Sure, that would be 2 dollars''.

I reached out to my bag for my wallet and I remembered, I forgot my wallet. Ok, no what am I going to do now? I guess I'll just have to skip dinner tonight.

"I'm extremely sorry but I forgot my wallet, so I'll have to cancel it." I apologised.

"Oh no it's fine, '' she replied.

I was about to turn away when I heard a voice saying-

"I'll pay for her '' I looked up to see who it was.
The same black doe eyes from before were staring down at me and we both burst out-
"YOU AGAIN?!".

"What are you doing here? Are you following me?", I blurted out. Pfffft nice one.
"Nice to meet you too'' He calmly said.

"I don't think it's nice to meet you,''
I argued.

"Well that's a nice way to thank someone who just offered you dinner, you're discourteous", he got back at me.

"Yah, how can you say that?", I shot back. "Then thank me", he said.

"I didn't take your offer yet", I smirked. "Well then, forget it" He turned away leaving me speechless.

My stomach grumbled again and he looked back at me,stunned. Are you kidding me right now? How is this fair? Why does this always happen to me?! I'm so embarrassed right now that I can't even show him my face. The moment he saw my burning face, he started laughing his head off.

"Did that sound come out of your tummy? Didn't you have dinner before running away? How stupid. HAHAHAHA", he laughed off.

"Stop laughing, it's not funny", I plainly stated. I didn't even have the guts to shout. I guess he sensed the urgency in my voice so he replied,
"Calm down, fine, I won't laugh anymore." I couldn't hold my anger in so I started to walk away.
