It was now my nineteenth birthday, and all i wanted to do was travel. I had visited many places as a child, but one place i hadn't been and wanted to go to more than anything was Ireland. My mother gave me a one way ticket, and enough money to get me started. My brothers sang 'happy birthday' to me way off key, and smushed cake in my face, and my father just stayed in his room with the tv on. What a great goodbye party.

As i entered the airport, i realized how crowded it was. Since I already had a ticket, all I wanted to do was get on the plane. I didnt even care that i would be sitting next to a complete stranger. I gradually made my way through the baggage checks and metal detectors to finally be in the waiting room. I was so excited that i had lost track of time and missed lunch.

I walked over to the nearest food stand and found that there was only one person in front of me. From the back I could see he had a blonde and brown hair, messily swept across his forehead, and he was dressed casually in sweat pants and a white t-shirt. I stood a few feet behind him, watching his every move as he finished ordering his food. He turned around with a mouth full of food and I saw he was cute. Maybe even the cutest boy I had ever seen in person. He swallowed and smiled at me before I noticed I had been staring. I blushed and looked away, ignoring his curious, blue eyes while taking a mental picture of him. I rushed away, stumbling past baggage and confused tourists. I could always get food on the plane, after all.
