Draco and Rose's Love story

The sorting

*Rose's p.o.v*

The whole ride to Hogwarts on the train I was an absolute anxious mess. We had just got to Hogwarts and were departing the train when I saw a very tall strange looking man.

"First years over here, first years come here please." I heard some boy next to me call the tall man Hagrid. I guess I'll just have to keep that in mind. We started to follow the rather tall man up a small hill and back down it.

When we reached the bottom there were all kinds of docks with all kinds of boats. I assumed we were just going to be taking them up to the school. I was lucky enough to get sat in a boat with Draco and Tom on the way to the school. The castle looked so cool even when you're so far away.

When we got inside we were met with Professor McGonagall who explained everything we would need to know before she took us into the great hall.

When we got into the hall I waited for my name to be called. I was standing there patiently waiting for my name to be called when I heard Draco's name being called. He was put into Slytherin, next came Tom, he was also put into Slytherin. Before I knew it I heard my name being called. So I confidently walked up to the stool and sat down. Upon sitting down the hat screamed out Slytherin. Right after me I hear the boy whose name was called get called. At first he was anxious to get up there but he did and from there on out Harry Potter was officially a Gryffindor. I think he only got put there because he told that dusty old hat that he didn't want to be in Slytherin.

While I was sitting at my house table and talking to my new friends My dad called me over to him. I tried to give him this 'dad I am talking to people' look but he really didn't care. So I let out a sigh and walked over to my father.

"Yes father?"

"Well for 1. Do not sigh and take your eyes at me. I am your father and 2.congrats on making it into Slytherin. I am the head of your house by the way. And 3. Even if you didn't make it into Slytherin I would still love you the same."

"So you would still love me even if I was a Hufflepuff?"

"Yes child. Now go sit back down with your friends."

After he told me to go sit down he gave me a warm smile and I walked back to my seat.

"I wish he just wasn't so over protective over me."

"Come on Rose." Tom said as he nudged my arm. "He only acts that way because you are his only child so he cares alot about you."

"I guess you're right Tom." 

We ate all of our food and waited for my father so that way he could take me on a little tour.

When we were walking he took me into his potions class room so we could talk for a little.

"Sit down please. There will be rules you have to follow while you are here."

"But dadddd. Come onnnnn. I am at school aren't there enough rules already that I have to follow!"

"There are only 2 rules so you can calm down. 1.no boyfriend. I don't want to hear any whining about it. And 2. You are to come straight to my class room at the end of the day for a daily report and I mean it."

 "Yes father." After our chat he walks me to our common room and I head up to my dorm to unpack and go to sleep.
