Blue Piggy

Promenading towards the intricately carved door, I placed my warm hand on the cold door handle and looked through the peephole. There was snow everywhere: snowflakes swirled down with a bright glow as if they had their own LED light inside. I wanted to meet him. Maybe be friends with him. Little did I know that he'd put the ring on my finger in decades. Hesitantly, I moved the door handle towards me, opened the wooden door, and inhaled the bitter air. I took a step outside: I could hear the snow crunch beneath my feet. Closing the door behind me, the snowflakes that fell from the winter sky performed a choreographed ballet conducted by the wind. I had front row tickets to the beautiful scenery. I gazed in awe at the captivating view: the frost kissed my cheeks as the snow alight onto my long lashes. It was midwinter, bleak but bright. Fragile blooms of vibrant-hued crystals falling with the conjuring of steel-grey clouds in the monochromatic sky. It was dawn: the sun had recently risen, the birds were probably in the south. I was mesmerized by the atmosphere that I didn't notice a car headed towards me. I was in the middle of the snow-filled road. It all happened all of a sudden. A Toyota headed towards me- maybe someone rushing to go to work, it was only six o'clock in the morning. I'm surprised that I'm awake at this time. Nightmares of this towering man in a weird suit covered in feathers terrified me for some bizarre reason. Then someone grabbed me from the waist and pulled me onto the pavement, blanketed with snow. That, someone, turned out to be the new neighbor: It was the first time I had seen his face. He then flicked his soft, jet-black hair sideways and shook some of the snow off of his hair. That is when I noticed his features; he was drop-dead gorgeous. His light brown eyes twinkled in the light from the lamp-post as he looked down at me. His long eyelashes flickered and his luscious pink lips seemed soft but cold. He was so hot for a five year old. I could hear my heart pounding as he said, "Watch out blue piggy".
