In the previous chapter, we discussed that in the case of gravity, the force of contraction acts in opposition to acceleration and expansion.
So, we can assume that in antigravity, the force of expansion works against the opposite of weight, which is deceleration and contraction.
By the way, when most people hear the word "anti-gravity," what comes to mind is probably "things becoming lighter," "losing weight," or "floating in the air. In fact, these images were set up by science fiction writers and are not backed up by any clear theory.
Let me give you an example. Have you ever heard of the "Hutchison Effect"? It refers to the various paranormal phenomena filmed by inventor John Hutchison. The images show objects floating in the air, desks becoming transparent, steel poles being torn apart, spoons merging with aluminum, and nails flying (teleporting?) from a barn outside.
The video is also on youtube. The video is also available on YOUTUBE, so please search for it and have a look.
Some people criticize the Hutchison effect, saying that it is inevitably a trick. However, after watching this video, I have a hunch that it is real and not a trick.
Suppose John Hutchison decides to surprise the world by filming a fake anti-gravity trick. Would he have to go to the trouble of filming a trick where a desk is transparent, a steel pole is torn apart, and dissimilar metals are melted together?...
We think not. Because people's only perception is that anti-gravity = loss of weight of things = floating in the air, so there is no necessity to film anything else, even if it is a trick. No one would be surprised to see such an image of anti-gravity!
No one is surprised. It's enough that the object floats in the air.
So what is it that John Hutchison was filming?
.... I am convinced that he photographed a real anti-gravity phenomenon.
Because it was real, he was able to capture and manifest a phenomenon other than the original property of an object floating in the air.
It is a shame that the experimental equipment was later destroyed by someone and can never be reproduced again.
John Hutchison's experiment used a Tesla coil and a Van de Graaff generator. It is thought that anti-gravity was generated by using ultra-high voltage to create an electrical discharge phenomenon.
Considering the discharge phenomenon, I guess it must be difficult to stabilize it because it is affected by various factors such as gradual deformation of the electrodes, impurities in the air, temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, and it changes every moment.
I've seen John Hutchison adding pipe tobacco in another photo. It is possible that the components in the pipe tobacco smoke may have affected the discharge characteristics.
In any case, considering the fact that the experiment could not be fully reproduced using the same experimental equipment,I can only think that the environment other than the equipment may have also had an effect.
