Tuesday morning, 7:30am.

Megan's alarm rings, the sound echoing in her tiny room.

She groans as she throws her sheets angrily.

She's far from being a morning person.

Her uncle eyes her furiously as she moves lazily around the house.

If I had to describe her relationship with her uncle, I'd say they're more like siblings. They always bicker like there is no tomorrow, and his wife tries to calm them all the time.

That's the kind of home life she has.

She rushes to school like she always does. Thanks god, she doesn't live that far away from it.

At the same time, Judy is riding an expensive looking car. Her dad is driving while her mom is sitting in the passenger sit.

Judy keeps eyeing her dad through the mirror, anxiety apparent in her eyes, until he finally speaks:

"Have you been getting good grades ? "

"Yes. Straight As. "

" Good. And what about the ranking? "

" About that... Oh." She gulps nervously.

" I was ranked second."

" As I expected. You just never seem to be getting better ! That girl keeps beating you over and over! "

" But I'm trying my best- "

" You're not. If you really were, you'd be at first place. What a dissapointment. "

" And that purse you bought yesterday, I'm taking it back. You don't deserve it! " He adds angrily.

" But dad- "

" Silence! "

Judy flinches at her dad's loud voice. Her hands start to tremble.

She looks at her mom's side for some sympathy. However, she seems to only be concerned about her makeup as she keeps patting foundation into her skin.

They arrive at school, Judy gets off the car without saying any word.

On the outside she looks unfazed, on the inside she's used to that kind of treatment. That's how things have always been for her as far as she remembers.

The school day starts, all the students are already in their classrooms.

Judy is already paying attention to the teacher and taking notes.

That's what you expect from someone who gets perfect grades all the time, right ?

Well, it's not always the case.

In the next classroom, sits Megan clearly zoning out while gazing through the window. If sleeping was allowed, no doubt she would've drifted to dreamland.

Time passes slowly, and they finally reach the lunch break time.

Standing in the center of a huge crowd, you can see Cloe confidently speaking to those around her as they nod with admiration.

She's almost never standing alone.

She then takes a sit in the school restaurant, as others surround her.

Similar to her, Eric makes his way through the restaurant, numerous friends walking by his side.

His eyes meet Cloe's gaze, he smiles and she cheerfuly waves at him.

Everything seems to be going well, until you notice someone sitting all by himself in the corner of the room.

It is indeed, Kevin.

He barely even touched his food. He keeps just looking at the plate before him.

But he's not the only loner in this school.

Megan can also be seen all by herself, eating a home made sandwish on the rooftop of the building.

Unlike Kevin, she seems to be enjoying her solitude.

Or at least, she looks like she does.

She also seems to be the one who chose to be alone.

The break ends, everyone is back in their classrooms.

Mark is being yelled at by his teacher for not paying attention and throwing papers around, and he only flashes a goofy smile in response.

Like the trouble maker he is, he gets sent to the school officer.

Despite being punished, the smile never leaves his face.

Maybe because, school is his favorite place to be.

**

Finally, the school day comes to an end.

The sky is getting darker, saying goodbye to the light leaving it. The sunset looks fascinating.

Students are leaving the building.

You can see Joshua riding his bike that is decorated with several silly stickers.

Some guys are apparently pointing fingers at him, but he doesn't seem to be paying them any attention.

He waves at his two friends and makes his way out of the school.

Jessica can be seen riding another expensive looking car , her sister is sitting by her side as they seem to be laughing about something together.

Judy takes off to go to yet another tuition class.

Mark is going to the gym with his friends.

Ashley can be seen running through the streets, until she reaches her location. A fancy looking restaurant.

The atmosphere out of the school is very thrilling and blissful, all of the students seem so happy to have made it through the boring school day and are making plans with their peers.

That is until a gut wrenching loud voice yells out interrupting that cheerful atmosphere.

It seems to be echoing from the area behind the school.

" W-what do you want from me ? Please let me go ! "
