Highschool sweethearts

"Hey umm Enji I know blood is gushing out of my face right now but would you like to have dinner with me this weekend?"

Enji blinked once out of sheer confusion, " What ? "

"You know, like go out and eat food with me this weekend?" At this point she thinks Enji isn't eating dinner with his family cause he seems to be confused.

" I know what dinner is, you Moron ! But why would you want to have dinner with me? " He looked down at her and crossed his arms.

"Oh ok,  I wanna have dinner with you cause I think you're a nice guy." she wrung her hands together thinking Enji would refuse her dinner request.

' I'm nice? ' he felt warmer than usual and fuzzy. "..Sure, I'll have dinner with you this weekend...Now get to recovery girl..I have things to do." he shoo'd her away.

"Wow! Really I'm so happy HAHA YES I DID IT TAKE THAT TOSHI!" She gave him one of the biggest hugs he had ever received.

A light pink spread across his face as he slowly wrapped his arms around her, part of his hair caught fire from how flustered he felt.

"Ok bye bye now I'm gonna go to Recovery girl, here's my address" she ran off in a rush.

He nodded and put the paper in his pocket. He watched her run off before suddenly realizing what she had said earlier. " WAIT YAGI!?"

-Mini Timeskip-

Enji showed up at her door with a bouquet of yellow, red and orange flowers. He's dressed in the nicest pair of slacks he owns and a turtleneck. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer. 

"MOM I GOTTA GO" She rushed down the stairs almost busting her ass, luckily she caught herself her parents followed behind she was dressed in a nice tan sweater vest, a nice white polo and some khakis. " Hey Enji! I'm glad you showed up". She answered with a smile.

"Hey Hina, I'm sorry if I was late...I was getting flowers...Here." he held out the bouquet and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Wow they're so pretty and smell nice thanks". She took the flowers from him and held them close to her chest.

Enji smiled and nodded. "no...uh...You're welcome."

"Sweetie, you never told us you had such a handsome boyfriend." her mom gushed. " I don't know about that he looks too aggressive for my little girl." her father huffed.

"MOM,DAD this is Enji Todoroki he isn't my boyfriend 'yet' and he isn't aggressive he is a big ol' softie he wouldn't hurt me at all he is really nice". She defended Enji.

Enji's face caught on fire to hide his blush, he took a few steps back to avoid burning anyone and anything.

"A TODOROKI!? Why didn't you say so!? He has my blessing." Her dad's attitude suddenly changed. "I'll start getting the wedding planner!" her mom cheered." I can't wait to tell all of our family about this!"

"DAD, MOM, we aren't even dating. I just finished saying that like 10 seconds ago. Let me and Enji go to dinner and we will see what ends up happening ok? Ok good, mom take these flowers, ENJI LETS GO"

Her parents retreated into the house whispering to each other about wedding plans.

Enji put his face out and nodded, he held his hand out for her. "I've made a reservation...it's a three hour-ish drive." he pulled his keys out of his pocket.

"Oh ok well I think we should stay at a hotel or something cause like three-ish hours there and back seems too much that would be 6-ish hours there and back". She just wants to spend the night with Enji.

 He thought about it and agreed, not thinking much of it. "Alright...I can buy us clothes for the night. Oh and I booked the whole place...just for us." he said, looking at his watch.

"Ok 'jeez this guys probably got twenty bank accounts my parents can barely afford to keep the car they have'.

"Let's get going then...oh before I forget...should I drive with the hood down?" He led her to his car and unlocked the doors. He pulled open the passenger door for her. "Sorry if there's a mess." there isn't he's just being polite and over exaggerating.

" Sure, oh and it's ok it doesn't look messy if you wanna see messy you should see my parents car hahaha" she tried making a joke it was very awkward.

He let out a small chuckle and got into the driver seat. He started the car and lowered the hood, after putting his seatbelt on, he placed his hand on the gearshift and quickly looked in the rearview mirror. "You can play music if you want." he pulled out of the parking space.

' This is really happening I'm getting married you can do this'

"Hina sweetie come on it's time for me to walk you down the aisle" Her father smiled. "everyone is waiting."

"You may now share your vows, you first." He signaled to Enji who took Hina's smaller hands in his.

"Without you I am nothing—with you I am more than myself. You are loved more than any metaphor can ever express. I vow to make my life forever yours and build my dreams around you. I promise to be the man that I see now in your eyes—today, tomorrow, and for always." he smiled at her.

"You may now share your vows" he signaled to hina.

"You were the one, you were always the one - You were the light in my life. When you're with me, we can take on the night, shining like stars in the sky. Don't hide away - Never hold back your tears, trying so hard to be strong. Only for you I'd gather the stars, 'cause with you is where they belong. In a single beat, both our paths began to meet So I'll take a vow, here and now, as we're shining bright."

"Bring forth the rings!" the priest shouted.

-timeskip: to the reception-

It was time for the cake, the newlyweds were standing behind the cake with plates and a knife. Everyone but Enji got a slice because he doesn't like sweet things. Hina didn't like that he wasn't eating any.

"EAT CAKE ENJI GOD DAMMIT" She smashed a slice of cake right in his face

He froze and the room suddenly got quiet then he started cackling, full on Chris Evans tiddy grab and all.

" See a slice won't do you any harm" Hina was also laughing

Enji grabbed a slice of cake and slammed onto his wife's face, still laughing his ass off.

"AYE, who gave you the right to throw a piece of cake at my daughter, take this." Hina's dad launched a slice of cake straight at Enji.

"HEy, How dare you throw cake at my son?!" Enji's father, yelled splitting a piece of cake in two and throwing part of it at hina's dad and 'accidentally' throwing it at his wife.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" The magma haired woman yelled, throwing cake at her husband getting some on Hina's mother.

This caused a cake war.

Hina pouted while ducking to avoid cake flying at her. "Aw man I didn't actually get to try any cake.."

"I'll buy you one...but for now let's get out of here before we become more cake than people.." he took her hand in his and gently led her out of the reception area to some place quieter.

The two of them cleaned themselves up to the best of their abilities and indulged in the comforting silence and lack of flying cake.
