"The surgery was good. Is Bhabhi working overtime today?"
Dev asked with a small smile, clearly knowing the answer.
"Stop teasing me. When your time comes, I bet you'll be even more miserable."
Hridaan scoffed in annoyance but who knew his words indeed came true one day and his cousin suffered the same fate as him.
Dev chuckled and chose to keep quiet.
After a brief pause, Dev looked at Hridaan hesitantly, as if he wanted to say something but did not know how to start.
"I'm ordering supper for the other two and me, are you going home or joining us?"
"Kunal just went into OT right?"
"He should be done by midnight."
"I'll join as well, anyways I'll go home to a cold bed..."
"Your floor is here, come up in an hour."
Saying this Dev pushed out Hridaan from the elevator as he knew if he let his cousin continue anymore he would be the one who is embarrassed.
"Pch... Alright, alright, stop shooing me away."
Less than an hour later...
Dev's other friend Pranav was already seated inside the former's cabin.

Even before Dev could finish his sentence his cabin door opened and Hridaan entered, making Dev sigh and motion towards him and Pranav chuckle softly in amusement.
"What happened?"
"Nothing. When will the food and Kunal get here?"
"Kunal should be done by now, as for food, I'll go and check up by the reception."
Saying this, Dev stood up and walked to the door before opening it just to find Kunal who was just about to open the door, standing there with a surprised look.
"Aren't usually heroes and heroines in this kind of situation?"
Pranav teased the duo, as Hridaan hummed the filmy background tune.
As soon as Dev and Kunal heard their other two friends they backed away as if grossed out by each other's presence.
"What nonsense are you spouting? I am already married with a cute daughter, don't doubt my sexual preference."
