Geeta disconnected the call before Dev could say anything else and annoy her.
Turning around, she found herself staring at her flushed reflection on the patio door's glass.
A blissful smile on her face, despite the annoyance she felt about his cheesy lines, it was not frustrating to her.

Sighing softly, she fixed her expression and walked back into the living to finish what she started.
After a few more gruesome hours spent, Geeta was finally freed from the torture but with the promise of having to do all of this again for the other pre-wedding functions.
Tired from all the try-ons, Geeta slumped on the bed, only to wake up again to check the time.
5:00 p.m.
Geeta groaned at the realization that she had wasted her complete day off on nothing but dress and jewelry trials.
Sitting back up, she sighed heavily before practically dragging herself to the bathroom to take a shower and freshen up.
After a much-needed hot shower, Geeta changed into a comfortable pair of loungewear and set the alarm half an hour before the scheduled time with Dev to get ready for dinner.
