Madelyn's POV

I was all set and ready to go. I had my ticket, which I was lucky enough to buy on time, I had money, my phone is also with me and I'm dressed.

I texted Trey that I'll be coming over in 10 before going downstairs.

"Hey Jen, I'm going over to Melissa's. I'll come back later in the evening." 

"Have you done your homework?" ughh. I love my sister but she can be a mom sometimes.

"Yes." I groaned but saw Jenny holding a file.

"Is that your portfolio? Lemme see." I snatched it from her but she took it back.

"Careful. I have worked really hard on this. Look." Jenny showed me the portfolio herself. I liked the photos but something was missing. 

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I nodded, not wanting to get her mad.

"Who's this interview with, anyway?" 

"Leon Vasquez." she said casually.

"Wait...Leon Vasquez. You get to meet him!!? I love his works! He's an amazing artist."  she looked surprised.

"How do you know about him?" 

"Remember about a year or two ago I loved photography. At that time I researched a lot about artists and their art works and Leon Vasquez was one of my inspiration when I first started photography. I may have left photography but I still follow many of his works." I told her.

"Oh okay. I'm going for my interview right now and I'll be at the Cooper's at night. I'm babysitting Emily and Katy." I nodded and walked out of the house. On the way to Trey's house I bumped into Zac Chase, Jenny's long time crush.

"Oh hi, Zac!" he smiled at me.

"Hi, Maddie. I-Is Jenny with you?" he was looking behind me, in hopes to finding Jenny but he was disappointed.

"No, she's still at home. But, she's leaving for an interview in a few so...if I wanted to catch Jenny then I'd walk faster instead of talking to her sister." he realized what I mean and nervously chuckled.

"Umm...I'll g-get going then." I smirked as he walked away until I realized that I'm a bit late.

Trey had graciously gotten himself grounded so I had to sneak in through the back door. 

"Maddie?" I jumped at the voice. It was AJ.

"H-hey..." I said nervously.

"Your boyfriend is upstairs. He's grounded. What are you doing here? Why are you coming in through the backdoor?" she inquired.

"Firstly, Ms. Derby Queen, your brother and I aren't dating. Secondly, I know he's grounded but I wanted to spend time with him and that is why I am coming in through the back door." I said while looking around to see if anyone else is coming.

"Please, don't tell your parents." she smiled and left. I know she won't tell so I just quietly went upstairs to Trey's room and knocked on the door.

"Trey! Trey! Trey Caruso Anderson!" he finally opened the door and I rushed in. 

"What took you so long?!" I whisper yelled.

"I was in the washroom." we sighed and got on his bed.

"At what time are we leaving?" I asked.

"Around 6:30. We need to go to a pawn shop in the city to get our tickets." I nodded. We basically stayed there in his bed the entire time.

It was 6 and we had to leave in while when Trey got a call from Henry. 

"Dude, I said we're in. Pick us up in 30 and don't honk the horn this time." 

We heard a knock on the door and our eyes widened. Trey shoved me under his bed and sat back casually. 

"Trey Anderson."

"Mom! A little privacy."

"Kids who spend over $200 on apps without permission don't get privacy, or phones, or tablets." she kinda has a point. If I were her then I'd be mad.

"You forgot to cut off my air supply." I tried not to giggle.

"Oh, that can be arranged." I love Helen.

"Look, we're leaving for the gala soon, so please, be nice to the babysitter." 

"Wait, Jenny's coming?" can't he take a hint that Jenny doesn't like him and move on!? And more specifically can't he move on to me! If it isn't clear...I like Trey Anderson. My best friend.

"No. Uh. One of Jenny's friends. And you need to shape up, Trey. At this rate, you'll never be responsible enough to babysit." 

"Promise?" Helen sighed and went out of his room.

"Phew. We almost got caught." he said as he helped me back up.

"But we didn't. Even though it was a close one."

"No kidding." I giggled and sat on his bed while he fixed his hair.

"Come on. Let's go." I nodded and we got out of his window.

"Jenny?" Trey asked himself which made me turn around. What is she doing here? 

"Oh god!? What if she found out about our plan?" Trey and I shared a look and I was panicking.

"Calm down. Let's just get out of here." he held my shoulders which made me relax in a few seconds. We got down and went inside Henry's car which was down a block. He had already picked up Lexi and Tyler.

"All set?" Lexi asked us and we nodded.

"We're going to see the Psychic Rockets!" the five of us cheered.

Trey's POV

"Guys is it just me or is this place really really creepy." Maddie asked as I clinged onto me. Being best friends for a long time, it wasn't awkward but I felt butterflies bursting in my stomach.

"It is creepy. I'm getting bad vibes from this place." Lexi said while she clinged onto Tyler.

"Girls it's fine. We'll get the tickets then get out." they nodded but were still clinging onto the two of us. Tyler and I shared a look before smiling at the scared girls.

Henry and Tyler were going to get the tickets but Lexi was not leaving Ty so the three of them went together.

"You can let go, you know." I told Mads.

"I can but I won't. This place is scary and I feel safe like this with you." I am not sure why but that made me feel so nice. I can feel my cheeks heat up but luckily the others came back.

"Let's go guys. We got the tickets." Mads dragged me out of the place. She's so cute when she gets scared.
