"We're not leaving till we get that camera."
"My camera? These guys are crazy." Lola said.
"We need to find another way out."
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Lola and Jenny looked up at the uniforms. We all got into them.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are. That's them." they spotted us. We reached the end and got out of the uniforms. We ran but there was a dead end.
"We can't get around this, guys. There's no way out." Jenny started to panic. I saw a chain in front of us. I looked at Trey who was smirking at me.
"Yeah, there is." he said. he touched the chain.
"There's an awesome way out." I told them. he pulled the chain.
"Oh, yeah!"
"No, no, no." It took a few minutes but Jenny eventually agreed because there isn't another option.
"Are you ready?" Trey asked AJ.
"You bet." she went down. Jenny looked surprised.
"How did you learn how to do that?" she asked us.
"How do you think I got off the roof?" he said.
"How do you think I always sneak out?" I said as Bobby went down.
"This outfit is so going to need dry cleaning." Katy said before going which made us laugh.
"Your parents are never going to ask me to babysit again."
"If they do, I'd ask for ten bucks more an hour." True. I would if I were Jenny. Trey went down and I went after him. I landed and looked up to see Jenny coming down. I panicked and rolled over.
Just my luck, I ended up being on top of Trey. He didn't push me away though. He was just looking in my eyes and unfortunately, so was I.
"Hey..." I breathed out.
"Hi." he smiled and didn't break eye contact. I noticed his gaze flicker to my lips then back to my eyes then my lips then my eyes. His hands, which were on my back and waist, started to pull me down slowly. Our eyes fluttered and the gap between us lessened. We were very close and were about to close our eyes when I felt someone land beside us which startled both me and Trey.
"Is everyone okay?" Lola asked as she landed.
"Yes."
"Let's go sell that ticket!" I got off of Trey who had a disappointed expression on his face. I have no idea what happened there. Would we have kissed? Why would he do that? I mean I like him a lot but we're just best friends. Always have been.
I shook all those thoughts away and walked over to Jenny.
"Hey, Jenny." she turned to see me.
"I'm sorry. Sorry for lying to you and for sneaking out into the city. I just really wanted to go to the concert and made a reckless decision. I should have thought about the danger of being alone with my friends in the city. I should have been more responsible." she smiled and me and put her arm around me as we walked together. We might be different and even if we argue sometimes, I still love my sister the most. She is the one who has been by my side every time since my parents are always away for their business trips.

"Hey kid. Guard this with your life, okay?" Lola handed her camera to AJ.
"You can trust me. I'm a Derby girl."
"Okay."
"Oh, tacos. Maybe my cupcakes could use some heat." Bobby went over to the stall and I giggled at his behavior.
"Mads, sit on this." Trey took off his jacket and put it on the bench. I raised my eyebrow at him until Katy sat down.
"Thanks, Trey. So thoughtful." I giggled at the little girl and sat beside her. Trey huffed and took a seat beside me and wrapped his arm around me while I closed my eyes and laid my head on his shoulder.
"Tired?" he asked in a soft tone to which I just hummed and snuggled close to him. We just sat there for a while before he put his head on top of mine.
"What are you doing, AJ? Please be careful." I opened my eyes but stayed in the same position.
"It's the Swift Trip Chop. A right chop with a back spin. It's Jailer Swift's signature move."
"Like that would ever work" Trey said. I looked up and saw that he had red cheeks. Wait-what?
"Oh no no no. Not the police." we got up and saw Lola, being dragged by a cop.
"Excuse me, ma'am. We're looking for our friend Lola. She's 19, dark hair, snappy attitude."
"Yeah, she's getting booked." I widened my eyes.
"Booked? Is that, like, arrested?" Jenny asked her.
"Like yep. Have a seat, and we'll call you when we're done processing her." we made our way to the benches. I sat beside Trey and saw that Katy was just standing there until I realized that there aren't any seats. I patted my lap and she smile before sitting on it as I wrapped my arms around her waist so she doesn't fall.
"I'm never gonna find the perfect ingredient in time for the contest." Bobby whined.
"Quit your whining. I'm missing the biggest rivalry in Roller Derby history." so did AJ.
"Both of you quit your whining. We're both missing the biggest concert of the year." Trey gestured to me.
"Hey, everyone quit whining. Just sit and be quiet so I can think." Jenny began mumbling to herself.
"Hey, Jenny. Can't we just call one of your friends for help?" Emily asked her.
"Uh, my friends are busy studying."
"What about your parents? I told you, they're out of town." she took off Emily's cap and my eyes widened.
"Emily, what did you do?" Jenny said.
"It's nothing. It's just a little hair dye."
"Just a little bit of hair dye? Just a little tattoo. What is wrong with you? Why are you being so irresponsible?" ouch. She doesn't realize that she's coming off really rude when she's stressed.
"I'm not irresponsible."
"You're just making everything worse. Now go sit with the other kids so I can figure out what to do." she sat behind us, annoyed.
"Next time, keep the fighting in the rink and not the parking lot." someone said.
"It's Jailer Swift." AJ went towards them. I am happy that she is able to meet her inspiration. Katy sat on AJ's chair.
If only I had been more responsible like Jenny and didn't sneak out along with Trey.
