Jared's POV
I wake up before Quinn. Hell, I always wake up before everyone else. I try to turn over but it's like theres a person laying on top of me. Probably because there is- my boyfriend? I dunno I think so.. I'll have to ask him when he wakes up. Anyways Quinn's laying on top of me dead asleep. I chuckle and run my hands through his hair. I hear a bang noise and turn my head to see that TV kid standing in the doorway and the chair on the opposite side of the room. "Whats up lil dude?" I say before I realize Freak looks like Freak's on the verge of tears. "You scared Freak! Freak heard a bunch of banging and then it went quiet! Haven wouldn't let Freak go in and check on you!" My heart practically sinks. How the hell am I supposed to explain this to a 7 year old? Uhh fuck fuck fuck- okay. I sigh and begin "So we were playing twister and I had to stand on one leg and kept smacking my head on the wall, I'm okay though" I hear a laugh as Quinn says "Nice." "Shut up it was the first thing I thought of" I whisper yell at him. "Listen kiddo, how about you go out into the kitchen- I'll be out in a sec and I'll make you breakfast, k?" Freak nodded and ran off. "So..." I begin while Quinn starts to get dressed. "What- What are we?" Quinn stops for a second before continuing to put a shirt on "Whatever you want us to be, darling" My heart flutters at the nickname and I sigh before going "Do you wanna be my boyfriend?" He smiles and walks over to me "Of course" he says before kissing me. "EW" I turn my head and see Haven standing in the doorway. "Hey there" Quinn says nonchalantly, meanwhile I'm tightening the strings on Quinn's hoodie to try and hide my face. "It's to early for this shit" Haven says before walking out of the room. Quinn turns to me and bursts out cackling when he sees me in the fetal position with my hands covering my face "you good?" he says between laughs. I groan in response. "Ok, you cool down while I got and make Freak breakfast, k?" I nod and hear the door shut. I immediately spring up and grab my phone, texting Fridge
Me: DUDE GET OVER HERE RN
Fridge: ARE YOU DYING
Me: INTERNALLY OR EXTERNALLY
Fridge: omw
I get tackled to the floor about a minute after to see my older sister laughing. "Okay what the fuck's up" I told her everything and she chuckled "Dude thats so fucking funny you know me and Olive were talking about a time similar to tha-" I stop her "You know where Olive is? Dude! Thats the whole reason I'm even here right now where is she?" Fridge's face turns from smiling to pure concern. "Y-you don't know?" she asks me "Know what?" I ask in response, playing with Quinn's sweatshirt as she sighs "She's- she uh- she passed. She lives with me and Venus now- Venus loves her heheh.." No. No, no thats not right. "H-how did she.. did she go out like- like you?" Fridge gasps before shaking her head violently "Oh! No, no, no- she just sucked some dudes poison out of him through his- erhm- dick" I try to stand up and walk to the bed but end up just collapsing on it "I wanna be alone for a while" Fridge nods and kisses my forehead "Okay. Text me if you need anything." And then she was gone. Quinn walked back into the room and saw me curled up on the bed crying. "Hey- hey you okay?" I sniff and try to keep my voice calm, but end up yelling. I couldn't help it. "WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO TELL ME OLIVE- sorry sorry" I take a few breaths and try to talk again but before I can get it out I'm enveloped in a hug. Quinn hugs me tight and says "I didn't want to tell you because- I-I don't know I think I just didn't want to see you sad" I'm confused. "W-why are you so okay right now? I yelled at you aren't you supposed to yell back?" He replies immediately "No! Why would I get mad at you, dude? Someone close to you died and I didn't tell you! If anything I deserve to get yelled at.. heh." My stomach growls and I put my head in my hands in embarrassment. Quinn picks me up surprisingly easy and walks me to the kitchen. Freak is drinking some sort of chocolate milk and is eating some toast while Haven and Serenum are talking. Haven's eating some cereal and Serenum's munching on some Strawberries "Pff, the fuck happened to you?" Serenum laughs. I flip her off as Quinn walks back to his room with me. "Got you a banana" He says, handing me the banana. "Just yell if ya need me, k? I'm gonna go hang out with Freak" I smile to myself and eat the banana before thinking about everything. I actually feel.. happy? For once? Strange since I just found out my loved one died but Freak, Fridge and Quinn are there for me and that's enough.
