I woke up and walked out of my room. As I walked to the kitchen, there was a note from my brother jack. He had went over his friends house. My dads car was gone as well. He was most likely at work.
As I opened the fridge, I realized we had no food what-so-ever. As usual. I guess I had to walk somewhere if I wanted to eat. But hey, its california, there's cafes and bakeries on every corner.
I went to my room and got dressed. I took my hair out of its braids and just left it down. I grabbed some money that my dad left me and walked out the door.
I decided I would go to the bakery that my friend Savannah's parents own. I walked into the little building and saw that her boyfriend Daniel was there, as usual. I waved to him and noticed someone else was there next to him. The other boy turned as I walked over to the table they were at.
