"Um i don't know. What do you wanna do?"
"I don't know what do you wanna do."
"Okay stop this isn't spongebob."
Hayes laughed and nervously ran his fingers through his hair that was geled up.
"Okay fine. How about we go get some food."
He replied
"Great I'm starving."
He laughed again. Damn this kid laughs a lot.
"Okay I'll drive where do you wanna go."
"I don't really care."
"Okay I'll surprise you then." He smiled and started walking to the door.
"Well... You coming?"
"Oh yeah." I laughed but was mentally smacking myself for being so stupid.
We got to his car and I got in the passenger seat as he got in the driver seat. I grabbed the aux cord and put on one direction. I started to sing and he laughed again and smiled at me.
"What?" I laughed.
"Nothing. You're just so adorable."
I blushed and looked out the window. He started driving and i looked back forward. After driving for about 30 minutes I didn't know where we were at all.
"So where are we going again."
"I told you it was a surprise." He smiled again.
I laughed at him and he laughed too. I just went back to singing one direction before it got even more awkward.
About 15 minutes later, we pulled up to a house.
"Hayes I thought we were going to get some food. I'm hungry."
"We are."
"This doesn't look like anywhere I can get food."
"Sure it is. I just went good shopping today. The fridge and cupboards are both full."
"I'm okay with it as long as I get food." I laughed and he did too again.
He got out of the car. I tried to open the door but it wouldn't open. Before I knew it hayes was at the door opening it for me.
"Did you seriously put child lock on."
"Of course. I don't let gorgeous girls open door themselves."
I blushed again and got out of the car. I followed him to the door and walked in after him. All I saw was who knows what all over his living room.
"Oh don't mind the mess. Me and Daniel were filming a YouTube video before this and truth or dare got pretty messy." He said as he picked up pieces of what looked like chocolate off the floor.
"It's Okay I have a pretty messy room too."
"Well...make yourself at home. Pizza sound good?"
"Yeah" I replied as I walked to the couch that was in the middle of all the mess. I mean he did say make yourself at home..I look for the remote but couldn't find it so I gave up on tv.
After a failed attempt of me trying to clean up, Hayes came over and told me to just sit. I went back to the couch and sure enough the remote was there now.
"So what do you want to watch?" I asked him.
"Oh um... I don't really care. Just put on a movie or something."
I went onto Netflix and looked through all the titles. I had basically watched every movie know there. That is except for the horror movies which I could never bring myself to watch.
The doorbell rang and shortly after Hayes came in with a pizza and soda. He sat right next to me and took the remote out of my hand. He went right to the horror section and I tensed up. I guess since he was right next to me he felt it because he looked at me with a worried expression.
"Everything Okay?" He asked.
"Um yeah... I'm just not a big fan of scary movies."
"Don't worry...I'll keep you safe." He then little just arm around me and smiled sheepishly. Man this kid is smooth.
I looked up at him only to see him looking down at me.
