A body laid lifelessly on the shore of the beach, as soft clashes of waves hit it. It would have been passed off as a dead body if it wasn't for the faint pulse and soft breathing coming from the body.
Sound of sands being pushed aside with each step the person makes. Arriving in front of the body that laid on the white sandy, the person squats down to check for any signs of life fearing for the worst but it was washed away with relief when a faint pulse can be felt on the body.
"Get the stretcher to bring him back to the headquarters!" the person said
The person stood up and inspects the surrounding area for any clue on how this body was left on the shore. Seeing none, the person decided to return back to the headquarters to tend to the person that laid on the shore just moments ago.
The sound of fire crackling from the fireplace with the sound of paper being shuffled filled the room. Nothing was out of the ordinary in a typical office room except for the body that laid on the sofa that was placed near to the fireplace for warmth.
Shuffling awake to the newfound warmth the person squinted their eyes open slowly taking in the brightness of the room. Looking around their surroundings trying to understand the situation or place they are currently in.
Slowly rising from the sofa with difficulty the sheet that was placed on them fall softly to the ground. Now noticing that the room was filled with books and the sound of pens being scribbled across the paper was now more evident. Looking for the source of the sound the person turns their head around the room.
Their eyes soon fall on a lone woman with stacks of paper and books surround her. Noticing that someone was staring at her, the said woman lifted up her head to see that the person that was on the sofa is now awake.
"Ah, I see that you are awake that good. How are you feeling?" the woman said.
The person took a while to form words as if it felt like it has been forever since they have spoken. With a hesitant tone, the person replied.
"I'm fine?"
The blonde woman took notice of the hesitance in the person's voice. Decided to take a softer approach as to not frighten the individual.
"My name is Jean Gunnhildr, Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonious. Sorry was the sofa uncomfortable for you?" the blonde woman who is now known as Jean asked.
"No... It was quite okay." the person replied
Nodding to the newfound information. Jean stood up from her seat to move closer to the person.
"We found you on the beach. Though you could have been passed off as a corpse if it wasn't for the faint pulse," she said.
The person nodded to the statement and started trying to digest the situation they were currently in.
"May I know your name?" Jean asked with hesitance as to avoid frightening the person.
"I- I don't remember..." the person said with confusion.
How could they not remember their own name? Everything was a blur for them trying to remember something or anything prior to awaking in the room they can only assume is the office for the Knights of Favonious.
An immediate sharp pain was then felt which caused them to hold their head. Jean who saw this action laid her hand on their shoulder.
"It's alright, you don't need to push yourself to remember."
The person then calmed down from the pain, and a knock can be heard coming from the wooden door in the room. The door slowly opens to reveal another tall blonde woman dressed in purple emerging from behind the doors.
The said woman took notice of the now awoken person in the room and smiled.
"Oh, looks like the cutie is finally awake. My my you gave us such a scare when we found you." the woman said.
"Lisa, you are making them feel uncomfortable," Jean said while rubbing her temple.
True to that you were quite uncomfortable with the new woman who is now known as Lisa coming too strong a moment ago. Though uncomfortable her smile was at least somewhat comforting.
"So while we were sorting out this little cutie clothing we found what seems to be an Identification plate," Lisa said to Jean while passing the plate.
Jean took a hold of the plate and inspect it again to see the engraved letters written on it before slowly passing it to the owner of the said object.
The person looked at it with curiosity as it looked familiar yet unknown to them. Taking hold of the object the person tries to read the engraved letters on it.
"Y/n" the person uttered
"Guess the cutie now has a name." Lisa smiled.
"I guessed it appears so," Jean replied
The person who now knows their name as Y/n looked up to the two ladies standing before them while taking in the newfound information which was their name. Now with a new burning question in their mind.
"Where am I?"
Both Jean and Lisa looked at one another and looked back towards y/n before Jean replied with the answer.
"You are in Mondstadt. The city of freedom"
The word freedom caused a sharp pain to them and thus making them hold onto their head this time instead of just the pain a small flash of memory run through their head.
"If you leave now you will have that freedom you always talked about." A voice spoke from behind you
As you turned around to meet the source of the voice. Your eyes softened as you see the woman stood in front of you.
"Why would I leave, when you are right here?" you said as you walked closer to the woman before embracing her.
The woman sighed as she took in your warmth while returning back the gesture.
"You know we could always run away from all of this together," you said lovingly to the woman who is currently in your embrace.
"Mmh, as much as I want to you know I can't" the person replied as they snuggle in closer to your body for warmth. Releasing your body slightly to look up to you the person smiled and caressing your face.
Light shaking caused you to come back to reality only to be met with two concerning pairs of eyes staring right back at you as tears stream down your face. You continued to breathe heavily while wiping away your tears, as Lisa brought you a glass of water.
Taking hold of the glass shakily with a small mutter of thanks showing your appreciation of the gesture. While you slowly take small sips of the glass of water, you start to question the small fragment of memory that just happened.
'Who was that. She felt so familiar.' you thought.
