It's Complicated

Chapter 1

I woke up to the sound of my phone blaring lyrics to Caraphernelia. I groaned and rolled over onto my back. I reached my hand over to the side table and reached around for my phone. My hand grabbed it and I answered it without even looking at who it was.

"Hey sis!!!" My brother Ben screamed into the phone.

"Benjamin Paul Bruce! What have I told about calling me in the early hours of the morning?" I whined.

"I just wanted to let you know that we're going on tour and we wanted to know if you wanted to come with us? We need a photographer."

I sighed. If I went on tour with them all of the guys would hit on my the entire time. If I didn't go on tour with them Ben wouldn't leave me alone.

"Alright. I'll go with you guys. When are you going to be here?"

"We're already at your apartment. We weren't taking no for an answer."

I shot out of bed and walked out into the living room, and sure enough Asking Alexandria was sitting on the couch. I hung up the phone and walked over to Ben with my arms crossed.

"Really?! You could have knocked or something!" I screamed at him.

"Sorry! We need to leave so go get dressed and pack. We'll be gone all summer."

I had a feeling we were going to Vans Warped Tour. I love going there. It was like a second home. I forgot to ask Ben if we were going to America for Warped or not, but I assumed we were and I packed all of my clothes in 2 suitcases. Unlike other girls I didn't need that much. Just clothes, lady stuff, and a hair straightener. I dragged my suitcase out of my room and in by the boys. James was the first to notice me.

"I'll take those down to the bus if you want." He said in his low thick accent. I nodded my head while smiling.

I've always had a tiny crush on James but I never told Ben. He would kill me and then James. James smiled at me and then took my bags out of the apartment and down to the bus. This was going to be a fun summer.
