It's Complicated

Chapter 4

I headed off towards the stage where Of Mice & Men would be playing. I had listened to a few things by them but never go too into them. I had forgotten to tell any of the boys that I left. It's not like they would worry too much anyways. I passed a couple buses and stands until I came to the OM&M stage. I started to walk back behind the stage when a security guard stopped me.

"Umm excuse me miss you cant go back here."

"You bet your arse I can. I'm one of Austin's friends."

"Pfft, yeah right."

"Go get him and I'll prove to you that we are indeed friends."

"Fine then. YO AUSTIN SOME GIRL IS HERE TO SEE YOU."

A few seconds later Austin starts running towards me. He picked me up and spun me around.

"HIIIII!!! I didn't think you'd actually come. haha..."

"Well why wouldn't I? You oh so kindly asked me to come and you guys aren't half bad."

After I had said that a ginger walked over to Austin. Not gonna lie, he was pretty attractive. He whispered a few things in Austin's ear and then pulled away.

"So who's this lovely lady? " the ginger asked while looking at me.

"I'm Siren Bruce. The younger sister of Ben Bruce. Nice to meet you."

I stuck out my hand and he shook it.

"It's nice finally meeting a girl that doesn't look like a whore and doesn't fangirl all over the place.

I just nodded and laughed with a reassuring look on my face.

"Well, we're playing in a few minutes so do you wanna come back and meet the rest of us?" the ginger asked.

"Uh sure. The more people I get to know, the better off I'll be."

As we were walking behind the stage I realized I still didn't know the Gingers name. So I asked him.

"Oh, my name is Alan Ashby, cat enthusiast."

I just laughed and said "So I'm not the only one who loves cats?"

Then we both started laughing. I had a feeling him and me were gonna get along pretty well. After meeting Tino and Phil they had to go and preform. These guys were probably some of the nicest people I've ever met. I could tell by there facial expressions that they love what they do and that they couldn't be any happier.

After their performance they all ran backstage and gave me big sweaty hugs. I should have been expecting it.

"You guys did fantastic!!" I yelled after the hug dis banned.

"You should come hang with us some time." Tino said with a big smile on his face.

"Yeah we love having you around." Phil commented.

"I'm not so sure if my brother would be okay with that. But I never listen to him so... I'll be sure to come hang with you guys soon. I'm gonna head back to the bus. See ya guys later!!"

I hugged them all goodbye and headed back to the bus. I was so happy that I had actually found people who like me for me. I didn't have any friends back home. Everyone thought that I was a freak. But I'm determined to put all of that behind me and start a new life. And I think Warped Tour is a great place to start.
