Jeonghan still hadn't gotten over his shock when Mingyu had joined them and started their meeting. "So, what is it about my son?" Mingyu asked, completely ignoring Jeonghan's expression and focusing on Jinwoo.
"Ah right, I wanted to- it's about..." Jeonghan trailed off, forgetting what he wanted to talk about in the first place. "You wanted to what?" Mingyu asked in a tone of annoyance, even gaining Jinwoo's attention.
"Mingyu, I need to talk to you" He looked at Jeonghan with a tinge of curiosity before giving up and leading him towards his home office. "Okay, go ahead" Mingyu sat on his armchair and looked at Jeonghan blankly.
"Your wife...you can't lie to me right now!" Mingyu sat up, not knowing what Jeonghan was trying to say. "Don't act stupid! She's literally me, almost to every last detail" Mingyu's face darkened as he stood up abruptly.
"What are you trying to say?" His tone was enough for Jeonghan to understand that if he said what he wanted to say, Mingyu very well might hate him. "Did you marry her to replace me?" Jeonghan asked in a low whisper.
There was a loud pause before Mingyu went over and slammed his office door open. "Get out of my house. You were brought here to talk about my son. Not to question my intentions with my wife, I LOVED HER YOON JEONGHAN! As if you'd know anything about love" Jeonghan wanted to question what Mingyu meant, but he decided otherwise.
"Jinwoo is such a sweet child, but he doesn't feel heard by you most times. Just try being there for him more, maybe I'm wrong but I just wanted to say that" Jeonghan didn't know if he'd ever see Mingyu again but he had to say what he wanted to say before walking out of the door leaving Mingyu to break down alone in the room.
