The He Family was currently being led by someone known as He Ji Li who has a wife called Han Qin and their only daughter was He Jia Si. Currently, the matter of He Jia Si being sent abroad wasn’t a big issue, the real issue was that her ruined reputation would make it hard for her to find someone of equivalent status to marry; the He Family would have to offer a lot of benefits to attract someone of equivalent status with He Jia Si.

The businesses that He Ji Li has now were all passed down from his father; as a result, even though he was a middle-aged man already, he still acted like an immature teenager, hooking up with multiple women despite being married, causing plenty of illegitimate children. All these factors were causing the He Family to to fall short of it’s glory days.

The large number of illegitimate children caused He Jia Si’s worth to depreciate, and to add salt into the wound, He Ji Li’s attitude towards Han Qin was getting more and more terrible, causing Han Qin to vent her accumulated stress and anger towards Jing Yun Zhao.

As for whether He Jia Si was involved in this matter, he himself knows best.

Additionally, with how big this matter has been blown into, he had to inform his grandfather about it.

Truth be told, he’d already recovered mostly from his sickness and he didn’t need to remain in Hua Ning County anymore, but the atmosphere here made him relaxed and Jing Yun Zhao was also his saviour which caused him to be reluctant in leaving. Adding on to the fact that the amount of care and concern his grandfather had shown for Jing Yun Zhao made him question if his grandfather would still support Jing Yun Zhao and cut ties with the He Family even though the He Family and the Tang Family has been in friendly relations for many years.

“Yun Zhao, I’m sorry… this incident could have been caused by me.” Tang Zi Hua apologized.

Jing Yun Zhao squinted her eyes and asked, “You think this is the doing of the He Family?”

“Amongst the people you’ve offended, other than the He Family, I don’t think anybody else has the influence to pressure so many reporters; also I’ve investigated the posters online and found that this incident was blown up so much due to ‘water-armies’1; I don’t think it’s possible to achieve this without connections or money as the amount of people hired was not a small number.” Tang Zi Hua replied honestly.

Jing Yun Zhao giggled and raised her eyebrows before continuing, “So what if it’s the He Family?”

“I’ll tell my grandfather about this incident, but as to how he’ll handle it… even I don’t know. You yourself know that the Tang Family and the He Family are on… friendly terms.” Tang Zi Hua said with difficulty.
