The three women exit the large building, heading to a parked black car.

The commander waits until they're inside the car before she says a word.

"So did you pick up anything?" she asks Jennie.

"His assistant whispered something about having the corporate lawyer on speed dial but that's it," replies the brunette.

"Why would they need their lawyer? We were just asking casual questions. It's not like he's a suspect or anything," quips Chaeyoung. "This is making me suspicious."

"I agree, it's suspicious but it can also be totally unrelated to us," says the Commander. "It's no surprise that this Jeremy Han has been under scrutiny for a very long time."

"Those bribe scandals?" asks Jennie, having seen the news.

Hana nods. "Being friends with the Minister might have its perks but it's also very easy to misuse that power. Although no one has been able to prove his guilt, rumour has it that those scandals aren't just meaningless accusations."

"Does the Minister know about this?"

"I think so but there's no proof so he can't do much, unfortunately. No prosecutor is willing to pursue this case because if they're wrong..."

"Bye bye career," mumbles Chaeyoung.

"Exactly."

"So what's our next step?" asks Jennie.

"I'm not sure but something tells me that this bombing might not be as random as we thought despite the lack of connection these buildings share," Hana says.

"I agree. That's why Oculus is cross-checking the companies in those buildings with the list of resigned employees from the security company that distributes those parking passes," replies Chaeyoung. "Maybe there's a connection there somewhere."

"Add this Jeremy Han's companies to that cross check," orders Hana. "My gut tells me that he's involved somehow."

"Will do, Commander."

Lisa jumps and gasps when a hand touches her shoulder, nearly dropping the tablet in her hands.

She hears that familiar bright laughter and turns around to see Jennie laughing at her. "So you think that's funny?"

"Definitely!"

The blonde shakes her head then smiles when her wife hugs her.

"No PDA at work please. Not before lunch, at least," remarks Jisoo who's standing just a few steps away, watching the two while pretending to be sick. "Gah. Newlyweds," she then adds with a sigh.

"You sound just like Mother," retorts Jennie. "You're practically a newlywed too."

"No I'm not. We're celebrating our third anniversary soon and trust me, you'll understand when you've reached this point."

"So marriage is the end of romance? Is that what everyone's telling us?" Lisa asks.

"Not the end but romance will fade. Just you wait and see. Now come on, I'm hungry," Jisoo replies and walks away, towards the cafeteria.

Since both Jennie and Jisoo have been busy with their tasks, they haven't had anything to eat so they decided to grab a late lunch in the cafeteria with Hana, Chaeyoung and Lisa who's been kindly waiting for her wife to return to HQ, postponing her own lunch. She was sitting on a bench in the sky garden when her wife snuck up on her and surprised her.

"I refuse to accept this fate of fading romance," states Lisa, grabbing Jennie's hand to make a point.

The brunette just laughs. "Don't worry. I'm pretty sure that the romance at our house will last for a very long time thanks to your cheesiness. By the way, what were you researching on your tablet? And why didn't you do it inside, in your office?"
