A/N ok so I made a spotify playlist so you can listen while reading this :) It's called 'reading tntds' by Aino Vitikainen.

As I arrived to the big hall with Kai I saw that there was more people than I had expected. The big hall was a giant warehouse looking hall, and The Class liked to say it was "good to remind us that life here isnt luxury" with rooms like that. Like we tought it was anyway. Now, I had my attention go back on the stage and saw HIM. The leader of the group, the man himself, the man who moved us around like we were only pieces on his chess board. James Churchwill. Or The Black Bear, as he liked to call himself.

"Welcome, my children!" He said, a fake, flattering smile on his face. Children. I was 16, and so was Kai. "Today is a big day for most of you, because exactly a year ago we had this fun little project called The Cleanup. This means that we took- I'm sorry, we borrowed most of you that are here." Same shit as every month. I had better things to do. I could be training my powers all alone at the moment, with nobody disturbing me. I wouldn't hurt anyone.

I turned back to go my room, but as soon as I turned around, two big guards stepped on front of me. "Are you not going to listen to your contributor?" One of them asked. I somehow managed to have a forced smile on my face as I said "Yes, of course." I rolled my eyes as I turned back to listening to Him.

"...And so without further talking, here are our new students!" He announced. Right then the big door in the hall opened, and a group of children flooded in. I would say they were about 12-13. I was 15 when I was taken. At that moment, as I would have been afraid, my flashbacks took power over me...

I screamed, in pain, for help, even though knowing no one would hear me. I had hope. I somehow managed to see them coming at me. New shot. At that point I wanted to be dead already. Dead or that I wouldn't feel anything. I screamed again as it hit me. This was worse than torture. This was pure pain, and knowing that they did this with free will, from pure pleasure, made it worse. If possible.

I awakened from that as Kai touched my shoulder slightly. Noticing me move made them flinch a little bit, but immediately after they calmed down.

"The speech ended. You zoned out like halfway through." Kai said as we walked down the hallway. "What were you thinking of?" Kai asked when we went to their room so they could switch into training clothes. "Nothing, just wondering life." I answered. Kai was used to my vague responses, thank god. I did not need a best friend who asked too many questions. "Well, there's not much wondering here, Kai said as they put on their gloves.

"Shall we go?" Kai said, smirking as always. I nodded and we headed towards the training room.
