I hear a knock at my door waking me up from my sleep. I yawn and open my phone to see Mariana and Ares on my lock screen.

Almost forgetting she put it there I smile and look up at the time. 10:25 am.

Sighing I stand up and look over at the mirror before opening the door.

I need to get a haircut.

I open the door revealing a tired-looking Mariana. She rubs her hazel eyes looking up at me. "Need something sleeping beauty?"

"I'm hungry", she says in a soft tone revealing that she just woke up.

I sigh and move out the doorway letting her in. She walks in going straight into the bed to lay down. "I thought you said you were hungry?", I question.

Mariana hums. "I am...but I'm also still tired".

She snuggles one of my pillows and drapes the blanket over herself.

I sigh grabbing my towel and going to go take a shower.

I finished getting dressed and looked over to the sleeping girl in my bed. Walking over to her I see her phone laying next to her.

Grabbing it I put it in charge and walk out of the bedroom getting my keys.

"Where you going boss?", I hear my cousin ask from behind me.

"Gonna go get things", I told him tying my shoes. I hear him laugh from behind me. "You don't even have to tell me what you're getting, She has you whipped within 3 weeks already huh."

I turn around to glare at him, "Say that again and I'll put a bullet in your skull la cagna."

"Mhm sureee..", Mario laughs turning around heading to his room.

He is on thin ice. What the hell does being whipped mean anyway...fucking dumbass.

Driving over to Ihop I order something for Mariana, the rest of them can order their own damn food.

I open my phone to check the time as I wait for the food and hear a male voice behind me. "You know Mariana too?"

Turning my head, I see a very short boy in front of me. "Sorry man it's just that she was your lock screen".

I continue to glare at him, "Pretty nosy if you ask me.", I confirm.

He nods slightly laughing, "Yeah sorry it's just that I haven't heard from her in a long while after our break up, names Liam by the way.."

An ex? great.. More people to hate.

I nod forwarding my head to the counter Infront of me. But of course, he just continued to talk. "So are you her new boyfriend or?"

"No."

"Oh then why is she your lock screen, you guys just friends and do that?", He asked with a chuckle but he sounded sour about it.
