The moment has arrived , the grand meeting , Brian was beyond anxious about the whole thing , but as soon he saw Jasmine walk down the stair, her head facing down, with her legs elegantly exposed at the thigh , the sandal she was wearing was made for her legs in all honesty. He had to gulp down his saliva , she looked gracious non of her exes ever looked magnificent like this even when their make up
"You look beautiful" He confidently said but to her it came out rather like a question than a statement, That moment made Jasmine tense up a little , making her feel awkward and confused as to how she looked and him walking past her didn't make the situation any lighter. The car ride didn't seem any better until she had to utter a word, if she doesn't at this moment t, the whole day and meet-up is going to be weird
As confident as she may seem when she accepted the invitation, she was a little nervous as to this whole gathering , judging by Brian's character from the day she met him well.. except for yesterday... she was not looking forward to his replicas and toe thing she hinted that its not only guys but there are also women so the situation made her uneasy too
"Thanks for yesterday, I really enjoyed myself" She said, breaking the silence , He faced her and smile, taking advantage and thankful for this ice breaker, he thought back to yesterday, how he could rewind the day again , then again his moods today was like a rollercoaster, one minute he was happy and the next it was consumed with guilt but he couldn't show her that
" Yeah I had a nice day, I didn't know that dancing in the rain and exposing myself to colds and possible pneumonia would be fun" He said, making her laugh a little loud , and they conversed a little more until they got to the destination which was not really that far
The moment has arrived, however the first step before getting to the restaurant was whether he should place his hand on her waist or hold her hand but he didn't decided on neither idea , he open the door and gently held her back as if she was leading her further , their guest waved their hands upon seeing , signaling that they are seated there ,they went , with smiles on their face, this was not a genuine smile though, from both of them one was guilty smile and the other was a nervous smile , the situation was getting rather tense
"Hey guys "Brian said in a small whisper and Jasmine mute , they all stood up and greeted their mates warm and happily , to top everything off the beautiful brunet with incredible lips placed her lips right on his lips in an affectionate way, this not only shocked Jasmine but what's worse is that all the 'mates' kept cheering her on, truth be told ,he didn't kiss back but Jasmine couldn't handle the situation so she quietly whispered and excused herself to the bathroom just to breathe and take in the whole thing, lets just say, the whole meet-up is not going to be a nice one
as she walked out of the bathroom, she came face to face with Brian who looked a little devastated about what had happened and wanted to defend himself instantly ,He walked closer to him but she moved back, before he could say anything ..any word
