(A/N: this is a poem i wrote a little while ago, so i thought i would share it with the world on none there than, national/ world poetry day, which is on March 21, every year.)

Far too long for many years,
I sat and lie awake,
Staring into endless twilight,
The realm that which divide day and night.
      Blurry vision, blackened skies,
Crystal blue stuck in my eyes.
Curling up to hug my legs,
As silent rains drip down my cheeks upon my knees.
Empty heart lost in frantic search for hope.
Dreams flutter and shine when a young man asked "Would you be mine?"
All because that one little line.
