chapter 1

Y/n pov:

My alarm went off as I got up from my bed and quickly put on my uniform. As I ran downstairs my mom yelled "remember you are going to visit you cousin tobio today" I gave a quick reply of "ok mom should I bring will?" "you know he's looking forward to seeing him" after our conversation I started my journey to school. Taking the short way though the neighborhoods to get there quickly since I was already running late.

As I got to school I went to my first class English, which has of course already started. "Why can I never be on time" I grumbled. As I walked into the classroom to take my seat the professor said "Ms. L/n (last name) would you please stay after class" Embarrassed and red I couldn't say anything before he started teaching about the differences in old and modern literature again.

(Time skip)

I walk up to my teacher and he says "Ms. L/N you need to sign up for an after school activity" "but sir I am already super busy with-" he cut me off and stated "I know you're busy but you need your grade to go up". While I really don't want to because I was already super busy I could give it a try. I want to do well I school, so if this is the way sure, "I will find a club sir".

After that I left the room and headed to my next classes while contemplating what to do

(Time skip)

I have to check if there are any open spots in clubs, go home to pick up will, then go to tobio's. I said in my head for like the millionth time. Once I was in the hallway with the board that has all the open clubs names I looked at them scanning the choices. Nothing really stuck out till I saw the manager for the boys volleyball club spot open

I was really interested in volleyball last year and wanted to try it for a hobby but I could never really play for certain medical reasons

I quickly took the paper and decided to head to the gym tomorrow morning before classes started. I headed out the door and started to make my way to my house to complete step two.

The walk took quite a while because I went the long way. I could walk, and think, and people watch as I pleased. It was by a park that was always filled with children at this time of day. Their laughter and smiles are always so contagious,  I don't think I could ever be sad around a smiling child. I have always loved children so I'm quite-

My thoughts quickly disappeared as I fell to the ground, when I looked up I saw a boy around my age "sorry" I said as I scanned his face. He has really nice eyes. "oh your ok I wasn't paying attention" he said and all of a sudden my face got hot. I picked up his phone which seemed to have fell on the ground and gave it to him. "well I have to go, bye" I quickly shot up and if it was possible walked away even faster.

I'm not that good in social situations if you can tell.

As soon I got home I said hi to my mom and immediately went upstairs to get will up from his afternoon nap. He gets to meet tobio for the first time.

"Wake up sweetie we are going to go to tobio's house" as he opened his little eyes he smiled a little which made my heart absolutely melt. "Yayyy, you get to meet Toby today" I said in my ridiculous baby talk accent. "Let me go get you ready now" I get to say to my absolute favorite person.

(After thatttt)

The walk to his house it pretty uneventful, but I guess uneventful is better than being bad. I have always loved walks, even in the winter time when the snow falls and slush gets into your winter boots. I think will likes them too, he seems to find himself giggling at the slightest breeze of wind, or at the lightest twitch of a leaf. I look down at him just to see his eyes fixed on a butterfly in the sky, who is entertaining him just by flying around to different flowers.

Before I knew I was walking up to their door, stroller in hand. I look at the familiar door that I have been walking up to my entire life. I went up to the door and knocked, it immediately opened and I saw my cousin. He was smiling from ear to ear. Yet another one of my favorite people.
