The palace was in a chaos.
Everyone was running here and there.
The knights were getting their weapons ready.
The officials behind the King were following him with nervousness and fear in their heart.
King suddenly turned around which made the officials flinch and look down.
King : Is this how you all gonna work?
No one had the guts to reply.
King : Weren't you all getting paid to protect and serve people!!! What's wrong with you all!!! I need a damn answer!! NOW!
The king roared in anger. The chief minister raised his head and replied.
Chief Minister : We tried our best, your majesty. It all went out of our hands. We are meant to punished. Kill us, your highness!!
The chief minster bowed in front of the king and every other official followed. They were interuppted by the chief general.
The chief general bowed and spoke.
Chief General : We have sent our knights to the south coast, your highness.
King nodded and said.
King : Dont forget! No public life should be harmed. Go to the south coast with back up knights.
King turned to the Officials and said.
King :Get up first! My kingdom only save lives. It doesn't kill anyone.
The officials stood up relieved.
King : I cant forgive myself if something happens to the people of south coast. Send the eldest Prince to South coast now!
He said looking at his ministers.
King : And ask the royal family to be at alert.
Officials looked at each other and was contemplating who will speak.
King : Why? Didnt the princes return back from their pilgrimage?
He didnt receive any answer from them.
King : Why are you all silent? Didnt you people hear me? Send the prince over to south coast!
Chief minister : Yo-your highness, Only the elder prince is in the palace?
King : What? Where is the youngest?
Again the officials looked at each other.
King : Open your damn mouth and speak!
Chief minister : We dont know, your highness! Both the princes were prensent when they started their journey back from the temple, but when they reached the palace, youngest prince's palanquin was empty.
King : Are you people out of your mind? Didnt you know its not safe for him to go out? We are in crisis of getting attacked anytime. Did he take some knights atleast?
Chief minister shook his head as no.
King : What the actual hell have you people been doing here? Arghh!!!
King was beyond terrified as his lovely son went out without any gaurds.
They got information in the early morning, that some smugglers and thiefs who live like normal people but are actual monsters have entered the kingdom.
To add to the tension, pirates of the south coast are planning to enter the kingdom through south coast harbor. Most of the country's wealth is in the south coast. South coast market has everything from iron rod to gold biscuits and diamond jewellery. If the south coast gets attacked, it will be a big loss to the kingdom.
It might cause dispute between countries. As it is the port for both import and export.
The palace was under utter tension due to this two informations.
