Part - 9 : Goofy Princes

In the palace~

The king along with the officials and general were present in the main hall of the palace.

Chief minister : Your highness! Its been almost more than two weeks but still the thieves were not completely caught.

He said side eying the general.

King : What do you have to say about this, general?
General : Our guards were assigned to guard the villages in disguise and no misfortunes has occured in the last two weeks, your highness!

Chief Minister : Were you able to find the thieves head?
General : The guy we caught doesnt know about the leader. Even after drugging him, we couldnt get the neccessary informations.

The general said looking at the chief minister, then continued speaking looking at the king.

General : Our men are guarding throughout the country. Sure the thieves would know about this too. They wont make a move knowing this. But we can lure them to us.

Taehoon (Taehyung's brother) : How?

General : If killing people for fun is their motive, they would have done that not scared of their lives. They are all scattered throughout the villages, still no new comers were being reported according to the village heads. This means only one thing.

General paused and continued.

General : The thieves are within us.

Said the general looking at chief minister. Chief minister glared at the general.

King : What do you mean by that, general??
General : According to our investigations, we assume that our own country people are involved.

This shocked everyone including Taehyug who was listening to everything through the hole he dug in the men rest room wall which is the common wall shared with the main hall. The main hall wall is definitely soundproof but not for the second prince.

(Usually Taehyung is not involved in the government affairs since he is not assigned any post except the title as young prince. Plus the king thinks he is too young to be involved in these, given his naughty traits.No one knew how smart he can be, how much of a warrior he is except the general who trained him and Jimin, who got the training along with him.

Jimin doesnt like to get involved in these, Taehyung though interested is prohibited from being involved.

Everyone sees them both as goofy princes who were just lucky to be born this way enjoying the royal treatment.

Unlike them Taehoon is involved in everything and is also the to be crown prince)

General : Our people are not completely involved but they may get completely against the government if we delay it more.
Taehoon : Delay what?
General : The royal parade!

Everyone was confused.

Royal minister 1 : Its been so many years since the royal parade occurred.

General : But the royal parade is not something we banished. Its just we have long forgotten it.

Taehoon : How does royal parade help in catching the thieves?

General : If our assumptions are right, their target is the royal family.

Everyone gasped and murmured to each other.

King : Silence!
General : Instead of waiting for them to attack, lets give them a chance to attack.

Chief minister : You want to put the lives of the royals to risk?
Taehoon : Its still better than putting the innocent peoples lives at stake.
Doesn't it should be the royals who stand in the first line of defence, Mr.Chief minister?
