When I wake up, that is what reality screams
Again

Make your cup of coffee with a little too much creamer
Again
Barely make it to school on time because you don't want to get out of bed
Again
Look your teachers in the eye without having a reason for your late assignments
Again
Face the daily lectures of being told to try harder
Again
Procrastinate on your homework and set yourself up for failure
Again
Turn your shower water as hot as it can go, wishing you were a candle and it, a blazing fire
Again
Face yourself in the mirror, and hate what you see
Again
Lay down just to listen to the voices in your head, taunting you
Again
Then finally, rest your eyes for a few hours,
only to be forced to go through the motions,
again.
