Has it been 3 years already? Yes, more than 3 years to be precise, more than 4 years perhaps. Dan saya masih belum dapat move on dari Angel. Bagi saya dialah cinta sejati saya, cinta mati saya, Angelarra Love Ashburn.

Namun saya tertewas di tangan Sydney Robinson. Sialan punya Robinson! Kalau bukan kerana budi, sudah lama saya menghabiskan dia. But we have that Mafia code of ethics. You can never kill someone that you are indebted to, lebih-lebih lagi tiada istilah pengkhianatan di antara Sydney Robinson, Angel dan saya.

Ya, saya mengaku saya salah kerana telah memungkiri janji saya kepada Angel. I promised to return every month, I promised we would still be together, I promised I will reveal our relationship when she turns 18.

Janji tinggal janji, Kurt.

Walau apapun yang telah saya lakukan, walau sekuat mana perjuangan saya untuk memenangi hati Angel kembali, saya gagal.

I remembered the day I first saw her again after returning from Milan. I was 23 and she was that beautiful 15 year-old girl. Attraction happened, lust happened. And when I had to leave, and even all through those years I still denied my feelings for her. I denied my love for her.

Dan di saat melihat kedekatan Angel dengan Sydney, saya cemburu. Tapi saya masih keras kepala. I admitted I needed her in my life, I admitted I wanted her to love me. Only me. But I never admitted I love her. That was my biggest regret.

Sakit hati saya melihat kebahagiaan Angel dan Sydney. Uh, bukan saya stalk dorang di IG, but it seems Kimmy is actively posting about them.

Who names their kids River and Paris anyways? Sungai Paris? Yang saya tau ada Kampung Paris sana di Kinabatangan. And the first son tu apa nama dia? Madrid kah Barcelona? Entah apa kejangkitan nama-nama anak-anak keturunan Robinsons tu. Kimmy pun kejangkitan. Rome and Sahara. Kenapa tidak kasi nama Napoleon and Mandela saja?

Terlintas pula di otak saya, kalau saya diberi peluang lagi untuk mempunyai zuriat Bersama Angel, I would name our daughters Angelarra II and Angelarra III. Biar semua nama anak-anak kami Angelarra!

Sebegitu obsess kah saya?

Saya tersentak dari lamunan saya apabila suara lelaki yang lantang menusuk gegendang telinga saya. Sikit saya humban dia with my dagger gara-gara terkejut.

"Capo, your first meeting is with Seito Nagawa." Franco, my new second in command mula membaca jadual saya.

I'll be in Japan for a week. A good retreat for my mind and body.

"Last is with the Black Dragons." Sudah lebih sepuluh minit Franco membebel. "Do you want your sniper or should I prepare your katana? Nel caso in cui." Just in case dia bilang.

"Maybe I should meet them empty handed." Saya bilang. Sama saja macam membunuh diri kan?

"Capo." Franco rolled his eyes. "You know they are dangerous and will taunt you just to pick a fight."

Yes, I know. The Yakuzas what they call mafias in Japan are blood-thirsty these days. But I don't think they'll pick a fight, they need my chain of supply if they are to remain the most powerful and fearsome Asian gangsters.
