Black. that's all Jasmine Potter could see, and it was peaceful until...

"WAKE UP!" screamed her twin brother James while jumping on top of the small girl, "James, GET OFF! you tosser!" She pushed the messy-haired boy off her. "Jasmine, do not call your brother a tosser" Euphemia Potter scolded her youngest.

Jasmine looked at her mum with her mouth agape "b-but-" she tried to stutter out "no but's apologize" she told the girl as she opened up her blinds. Jasmine looked down at her brother who was seated on the floor with a mocking smile on his face "well, I'm waiting" he told her, "ugh, fine I'm sorry for calling you a tosser and pushing you off the bed, you happy?" she said

Euphemia looked at her children with a soft smile on her face "yes I am, now get dressed for breakfast we're leaving in a bit" she reminded the two while walking out the door. As soon as the older woman walked out the door Jasmine smacked her brother on the head. James held his head and looked up at the girl seated on the bed "what was that for!?" he asked "that was for rudely waking me up" she scolded him

"Jasmine, my dear sister, do you know what day it is?" he asked her while standing up "Wednesday, why?", James looked at the girl like she was the most stupid person he had ever met "Are you daft?" he asked, "No I am not, what are you getting all worked up about?" she asked "WE START HOGWARTS TODAY!" he said jumping on her bed again.

That's when it clicked in the girl's head, Jasmine started jumping up and down on her bed "OH, MY GOSH!" she yelled, "I KNOW!" James yelled also jumping on the bed " what did your mother say about jumping on your beds?" Fleamon potter asked the two. Jasmine and James stopped jumping and turned to their father "sorry dad, we just got excited" the girl explained "yeah dad" James added on "oh, well then you won't mind if I, well I don't know" the older Potter said taking off his shoes "you don't mind if I join you do you?" he asked joining the kids.

Jasmine and James begin laughing as they saw their father jumping on the bed with them, but the laughter was interrupted when they heard a cough come from the door, the three turned to see Euphemia standing at the door frame with her arms crossed, she began walking up to the three "now what have I told you two about jumping on the bed?" she asked to two "not to" they both said "exactly, and you" she said pointing to her husband "what have I told you about encouraging them?" she asked "not to" Fleamont said getting off the bed and putting his shoes on "exactly now, please get dressed and come down for breakfast" she told them "okay mum" "okay Ephie" they all replied

Fleamont went to walk out the door but looked over his shoulder "that was fun, oh and please guys get a hairbrush" he told them, Jasmine and James both looked at the mirror on the girls Vanity and touched their hair "oh yeah, we should take dads advice" James said to the girl using his hands to comb through his hair "yeah" she replied

Jasmine then turned to the clock in her room and quickly to the boy "James get out and change before we're late!" The boy looked at her confused until she pointed to the clock behind him which he saw and quickly scrambled to the door "meet you downstairs!" he yelled out closing the door behind him, Jasmine turned back to her mirror and looked into it "okay, breath Jas breath, you start Hogwarts today your dream since you were a baby" she told herself before she looked at the clock "nice talk but I have to get dressed" she said to her mirror before running to her wardrobe.
