It was winter in Vale. A layer of snow covered most things. It was a sight to behold as the snow glistened in the air while falling. I was in awe at how pretty Vale looked during the winter. I looked at the lights of the city while walking down the street. Most people looked at me in disgust or pity. The reason for this was because I was homeless. I had nothing to my name whatsoever. The only things I had were my rundown clothes and an abandoned house. I didn't mind though. Living like this was fairly easy. What isn't easy is trying to get food and money. I usually stole food from stores or actually bought it using money I had. Getting money was one of my favorite things to do. Why do I like it so much? The answer is simple. It's because I kill people. Some people might find my excitement abhorrent but it doesn't matter to me. It's the easiest way to get money and it relieves a lot of stress for me. I wasn't like this before though. I wouldn't even think about killing someone in the past but years of holding in anger really changes you. I've been living fine doing this but winter has gotten tough to survive in. Not many people go out at night anymore and I can't find a warm place to stay in. But I've recently came up with a different way to survive. I've been tracking numerous targets and I've been waiting at the right time to kill them. Usually I take their valuables for myself but this time I've found someone different from the rest. Her name is Ruby Rose. A 15 year old huntress in training at Beacon Academy. I find her special because of her looks. She's beautiful. Her porcelain skin, silver eyes, and her small figure. I wanted to grab her slender throat and see the light leave her eyes as she desperately tries to breathe. I've been tracking her for a month now and soon I will be able to get to her. I don't need or want to kill her to survive though. I want her for my entertainment. I have already thought of numerous ways to have fun with her. One problem I have with her is her team. Her team members are always with her. One of her team members is also her sister. Her sister is extremely protective of Ruby and will go great lengths to protect her. Right now all I was doing was looking for her. I know I would be able to find her soon since her and her team have been going out lately. The snow crunched under my feet with each step I took. The cold wind hit my face. As much as I hated trying to survive in winter, I did like the low temperatures. I continued to search for Ruby Rose and to my surprise, I actually managed to find her. She was by herself with her normal attire. Since she was dressed normally in this weather I assumed that she wasn't going to be out for long. I saw that she was headed to a dust store. She probably needed some dust and then was going to return back to Beacon. I started to follow her until she entered the store. I waited outside and made sure no one was around. My heart was racing and I was shaking a little. I didn't know if I would actually be able to pull this off. If I didn't manage to succeed then I would be either killed or arrested. I stared at the ground waiting for her to exit until I heard the door of the store open. I looked over and saw her with dust vials in her hands. I started to walk over and called out to her.
Y/N: Hey miss... do you have a moment to talk?
She looked at me in confusion and backed up a little.
Ruby: U-uh sorry but I really have to get going. Bye.
She turned around and I grabbed her hand. She looked back at me and tried to pull her arm away.
Ruby: Hey! Let go of my arm!
At this point she was desperately trying to pull her arm away as I came closer. She reached for her weapon but I was faster. I grabbed her other arm and pinned her to the ground. I grabbed her weapon and threw it away. She was about to yell for help when I covered her mouth. She looked at me in fear and tried to escape. Since she was relatively small I figured I could carry her back to my house without anyone seeing. I wrapped my arm around her body and covered her mouth. I picked her up and made my way back to my house. Once I started to move she tried to kick me and pull my arm off of her. I felt her move her mouth and then I felt a sharp pain in my hand. She bit my hand and started to bite even harder. I hissed in pain and dropped her. She fell on all fours and tried to run away using her semblance. I grabbed her leg and pulled her back. I grabbed her hair and then I slapped her in the face. She yelled out in pain and tried to call out for someone again.
